Morning all,
First of all, just a reminder, you only have 2 days left to enter my candy draw, scroll up for details ;0)
I have scheduled this post so hopefully you will be reading this in the sun and I will be at the dentist having a filling (aaaargh!!)
I have a card for you today which is for a friend who's birthday it is on Thursday, she loves her garden.
I have used the Washington Apple papers from the mini catalogue and the very sweet wellies from the Scene in the Garden stamp set (also from the mini), I have a class using this set in August if you would like to have a little play with it.
Sorry about the photos, I have played around with them but they are still not a great colour match for the real thing. I have also just realised this one is a bit on the wonky side ;0) I also used the stripey grosgrain ribbon (available in
this share), scallop border punch, and straight and scalloped circle punches.
I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the Happy Birthday in a circle and to get the wellies in a straight line and evenly spaced. I then coloured the wellies with a blender pen and ink pads. I got the very pretty flower from the florist wholesalers last week when I went there to get a roll of cellophane, pretty aren't they?
I used the sentiment from "Crazy for Cupcakes" as is the Happy birthday on the front. Swirls are from "Yummy" which is no longer available. Let me know what ou think.
I hope your morning is better than mine will be ;0)
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
