Get well soon

Afternoon all,
As I did promise you this last week, today I have a mans card to show you :0). It has already been sent to my uncle (mums bro) as he is in hospital at the mo.
I used the "Scene in the Garden" set which is great for mens cards espesh if they like their Garden (like my uncle does) and also for womens cards like this one I made for Mandi last week.

I stamped using my trusty Stamp-a-ma-Jig using Staz-on so I could watercolour the images, I used a mixture of blender pens (for the small parts) and waterbrush for the table, with my ink pads.

Old olive dsp for the base and a faux bow using the off cuts. buttons from stash and sentiment from Sincere Salutations.
Hope you likey, must dash...
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

A Garden Scene

Morning all,
First of all, just a reminder, you only have 2 days left to enter my candy draw, scroll up for details ;0)
I have scheduled this post so hopefully you will be reading this in the sun and I will be at the dentist having a filling (aaaargh!!)
I have a card for you today which is for a friend who's birthday it is on Thursday, she loves her garden.
I have used the Washington Apple papers from the mini catalogue and the very sweet wellies from the Scene in the Garden stamp set (also from the mini), I have a class using this set in August if you would like to have a little play with it.

Sorry about the photos, I have played around with them but they are still not a great colour match for the real thing. I have also just realised this one is a bit on the wonky side ;0) I also used the stripey grosgrain ribbon (available in this share), scallop border punch, and straight and scalloped circle punches.
I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the Happy Birthday in a circle and to get the wellies in a straight line and evenly spaced. I then coloured the wellies with a blender pen and ink pads. I got the very pretty flower from the florist wholesalers last week when I went there to get a roll of cellophane, pretty aren't they?

I used the sentiment from "Crazy for Cupcakes" as is the Happy birthday on the front. Swirls are from "Yummy" which is no longer available. Let me know what ou think.
I hope your morning is better than mine will be ;0)
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
