Petal Promenade Wreath Card

Hello there,
Today's card uses the Petal Promenade DSP. I love how this paper looks so 3d but is completely flat! You can see the SU! design process for making this paper HERE
So, I wanted to use one of the pretty summer wreaths from the paper so I made this card...
I added a stamped sentiment to the centre from Dandelion Wishes and a little ribbon bow to the top and well, the paper does most of the rest tbh :-)
Just a few sequins for a little bling!
It was super easy to cut this out so please don't let the fussy cutting put you off :-) This paper is also great for pretty, flat cards (which are easy to post) but still look super dimensional, don't you think?
That's all from me for today, isn't today the last work day before the bank holiday??
Have you got much crafting planned for the long weekend?
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

I have a few myself already and my top picks are: Animal Expedition, Twinkle Twinkle and of course the Petal Promenade packs! Here's a little visual for you...

Using Stitched All Around for Inspire. Create Challenges Sketch #20

Hello there and welcome to today's blog post.
And it's time again for another challenge from Inspire. Create Challenges. This week (#20) it's my favourite kind of challenge, a sketch challenge, so let's start with the sketch shall we?
Now, I have followed the sketch fairly closely this week and I have played with some of my new goodies too!
I absolutely adore these Petal Promenade papers and couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I didn't actually get the stamps to go with them (yet) so instead I've teamed them with the Stitched All Around stamps and dies with crisp white and navy...
Love that cross stitch effect border die and the stitched edge framed panel from this set.
And I think that paper just takes this whole card to another level!
So, do you love them too?? Let me know in the comments section...
To see what the ret of the Dt have made with this sketch please do head over to the ICC blog HERE and then get making! We'd love to see what you come up with!
Thanks so much for looking today :-)

Christmas Decorations for a Jems Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to a Jems Blog Hop :-)
Today we are hopping around 8 lovely blogs with a theme of Christmas Decorations.
Before I share todays makes, can I quickly mention that SU! have started their sales! Eeep! With many discounted products and quite a lot of stuff that is now is only "while stocks last".
So if you've had your eye on anything please do order it in my SHOP, asap ;-)
OK, back to today's makes! Unfortunately we haven't managed yet got our tree up but now I've made this I am excited for when I do ;-) and of course I'll share more photos with you when it actually goes onto the tree! I was inspired, at a home show I visited last weekend, to make a concertina paper chain using the Merry Music DSP. I remember making these at school and making this was a great fun way to occupy myself while sitting in front of the telly for an hour or two this week.
This Merry Music paper is just perfect for making these chains as it's a tiny bit thinner than regular dsp but you could also use any of the regular dsp SU! sells...
Simply cut the dsp into 2cm strips, glue the end at a right angle and fold over each other till it runs out, glue the next strip to make the colour block long as you'd like. For mine I did three sets (6 pieces) of white then two (4 pieces) of black. Repeat until it's long enough to wrap/hang where you want it :-)
And just as a one off with my last few foil snowflakes I made a 3d snowflake, very easy to make and pretty too!
OK, so I hope you liked my homemade Christmas decorations. Next you're going to hop and see what delights Sarah has made for you! Thanks for looking today :-)

Watercolour Words by Stampin' Up!

Hi there,
Today's card is a fun way of using DSP. If you have some sheets that you don't know what to do with or perhaps a lot of retired papers even then I love this way of using them for easy cards. I used Watercolour Words but any bold image stamp set would work for this, take a look....
Also they are great for posting as they are so flat ;-)
The flowers and the stars are in the set too so you can easily make cards for both men and women with a simple change of colours and image :-)
Super quick post today as I'm trying to get lots of posts ready for you for the next little while #gettingahead
Thanks for looking today!
