Slate Heart Wedding Gift using Happy Notes and Botanical Builders Dies

Hello there,
Today I have a  cute slate heart which I have decorated for a wedding! I made some mini version for Christmas with a video tutorial which you can find HERE, I strongly recommend you visit this post and watch the video for my tips on heat embossing on slate but the most important thing is to please be warned! When heat embossing the slate gets really hot! Please use caution if you have a go at this project.
OK, warnings all given so lets take a look at this project! I was so happy with the way it came out, what do you think??
I used the Happy Notes stamp set as I love the retro styling of the font. I teamed that with the amazing Botanical Builder dies (class coming in March ;-)) and the Love Blossoms DSP stack to decorate with these handmade flowers around the edge of the slate...
The leaves are actually cut from very thin cork and inked with crumb cake ink and I added a few white and blushing bride glimmer paper centres to the flowers.
Just so you know I adhered the leaves and flowers to the slate using crystal effects.
I love this photo next to the old fashioned iron which is on my Pepsi crate shelves in the kitchen :-)
and one final photo today (sorry it's a bit blurry!)
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's project?
Thanks for looking today,
