Hello!
Today's card uses another set from the new catalogue - "A Little Wild". I am so in love with the cute characters in this set! The images all have a front and rear view and the matching dies allow you to cut them out as a whole so they can be used for tags or just so they can be opened and you can add a little message inside, just like on today's card! Lets take a look.....
The vines in the background are included in the die set. I added them over a smoky slate watercoloured wash.
TIP 1: No need to colour the back of this little ellie as he's going to be stuck to the card.
TIP 2: You can use shimmer card and Memento ink to stamp and watercolour the characters in this set if you like a smooth finish, that's what I did here.
I die cut an extra layer to go inside the elephant (so the edges were nice and neat and to hide the bakers twine ends) and stamped it with a sentiment from the set.
I also made a fun tag to go on a matching gift :-)
Back soon with more :-)
