Good Evening to you!
We have had a lovely weekend in the sun here in the South of the UK :-) Yesterday we went bathroom (and kitchen) tile shopping which, to some, may sound boring I admit ;-) But, we have been waiting to do so much in the house after the leaky roof debacle some three years ago now that I'm just itching to get the house looking lovely again! And Sunday we hung a few pieces in the lounge so now that's almost finished :-) Consequently I haven't really been around to blog but last night I uploaded at least 5 days worth of cards to share with you over the next week :-)))
I am on a bit of a mission to create something with some of the "half made" things in my craft room. This card started life as one of the watercolor washes I shared on Instagram a little while ago...
I took the pool party washed piece and added some of the new embossing paste, using the cloud stencil, over it in a band. I thought it looked nice but needed something extra so I sprinkled the clouds with Dazzling Diamonds whilst it was still wet to achieve this result :-)
Then I used the (much loved) Adirondack chair die from the Colourful Seasons bundle and a heartfelt sentiment from the matching stamp set.
Finished off with a Flirty Flamingo border and ribbon bow, to match the chair.
I have sent this card to a lady who really does make many people smile, although she would (humbly) say she doesn't do anything! Love the #makeacardsendacard campaign this year started by SU! It really is lovely to receive a card in the post, why not give it a go this week ;-)
