Easy pencil Holder with Video Tutorial for #washiwednesday

Hello there and welcome to Washi Wednesday!
I have a fun pencil or pen holder to share with you today and I have even made a super short video tutorial with measurements to go with this post ;-)
So, let's see this holder....
What a fun way to gift something that could look a little *meh* if you just gave it as it is but dressed up in this holder it's just a little more special....
So, here is the tutorial for you :-)
And one final photo for today!
So, I do hope this inspires you to use your washi tape and maybe even cut into that DSP too!
Don't forget to share your makes with me if you do have a go ;-)
Thanks for looking today,

Washi Wednesday

Hello!
It's been a while since I shared a Washi Wednesday but I have a fun little way to jazz up your gifts and envelopes to share with you today. As with most washi projects this is super quick and easy but makes all the difference to boring or plain packaging...
I used some lovely glitter Washi but, of course, you could use any tape you have. Why  not choose one to match your gift or card...
Or a more transparent tape for the envelope, if it needs posting :-)
Let's actually use that Washi Tape instead of storing it in pretty baskets! I'm off to see what else I can do with washi!

#WashiWednesday - Easy Floral Boutique Washi Tape Card and August News from SU!

Hey honey, I'm home!
Incase you didn't know I have been away for a little over 10 days visiting with my Dad in Spain and generally chillin' with the family (sadly, number one son couldn't make it though) and of course soaking up some much needed vitamin D whilst we were there :-)
I did manage to get a post scheduled here each day for the whole time I was away so if you don't follow me on other social media hopefully you wouldn't have noticed too much was different?
So, since I have returned home so much has happened in the SU! world! I have been busy, busy in my craft room for the last couple of days too, as I have a large commission to finish :-) but I do still have plenty of projects to share with you so I shall be blogging right on through this summer!
Before I share my #washiwednesday project I must mention the "August only" promotion for the very lovely Thoughtful Branches. This stamp and die set is only available for August (until the 31st or while stocks last!) If you'd like to order this then please do visit my SHOP :-)
*And don't forget to use your Bonus Days codes too!!*
OK, so lets see todays card, this is one from last month's class.
As with most washi based cards this one is super fun and easy to make....
The sentiment (from the Floral Boutique stamp set) was embossed with copper coloured powder. Love this Navy, White and Copper colour combo, it's so fresh looking, don't you think?
I used the matching Floral Boutique DSP to cover the whole of the card front, I'm loving this look and it seems to be around a lot more lately.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's card? Have you noticed the sneak peek of another upcoming card which can be seen in the August Shopping Code picture below?? ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today and don't forget the Thoughtful Branches Bundle is only while stocks last!
Hugs,

Please don't use this code on orders over £150 as you will be the lucky hostess!

#washiwednesday -A Banner Card using Everyday Chic Washi by Stampin' Up!

Have you used your washi this week? I have been a bit busy here so today I have the card I mentioned to you last week but I'm planning on getting a lot of crafting in this upcoming weekend as it's a bank holiday here in the UK :-))))
So, here is today's #washiwednesday's quick little card for y'all!
I made a simple banner design by wrapping washi around some thick smoky slate twine...
I used Everyday Chic washi - which will be retiring on 31st May! - and some of that gorgeous glitter tape from SaB 2016, if you didn't get any then you could use glimmer paper instead :-)
This sentiment was heat embossed in silver and then coloured using blender pens and my Smoky Slate ink pad, it's from the upcoming set Confetti Celebration - love it!
As with most washi projects this is a quick and fun card that can easily be made in multiples.
Don't you love washi for crafting on the go?
And it's great for crafting with kids and beginner crafters too!
Well, that's me for today, I'm off now to write another wish list for the new catalogue *ahem* I mean do some work... ;-)
'till the next time,
Stampin' Hugs,
