Dandelion Wishes for a Colour Challange

Hello!
I'm a bit later today as I didn't get a chance to schedule this post last night as we went out yesterday which was really nice.
Anyway, for my make today I used a colour challenge from our team group organised by the lovely Uma! I haven't managed too many of these due to being away a lot this summer but I plan on going back and catching up once I get home and have a chance ;-)
Here are the colours we needed to use...
I loved this colour combo when I saw it (probably because Lovely Lipstick has fast become my "go to" colour!) and I'm sure I'll use it again, what do you think...
I inked up the Dandelion Wishes image with Pineapple Punch then used a sponge dauber to add Lovely Lipstick to the centre.
I added a few rhinestones (for a change) and the sentiment is from the same set :-)
So, I'm all about the colour challenges on here this week, right? Will you give this one a go too? :-D
Thanks for looking today, I'll be back tomorrow with another Christmas make!
 'Till then, happy stamping,

Dandelion Wishes with Brusho in Navy

Hello!
For todays make I played with my Brusho Ink Crystals on watercolour paper teamed with Dandelion Wishes which I heat embossed in silver...
I really love the intensity of colour you get using these crystals and I wanted to make a wash effect background. To create this I started by adding water to the paper, adding the crystals then using my aqua painter I brushed over the area to make a solid colour.
TIP: The tiny Brusho crystals go everywhere! Make sure you have grid paper (or scratch paper) underneath where you are working and I make sure to throw the sheet away as soon as I've finished with the colour I'm using and wipe the area down so it doesn't transfer onto my next project.
I used a couple of off cuts from the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP under the silver dandelions and as a tab at the top too.
Finish with a few sequins and some silver thread.
This card is so me! I love navy and watercolour washes and heat embossing and sequins... Well, you get the idea ;-)
Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed today's card too and I'll be back tomorrow with more.
'Till then, happy stamping!

Dandelion Wishes Eclipse Card

Hello,
My husband recently asked me to a make a special card for a lovely lady he works with for a big birthday. He originally asked for her number on the card, which I swiftly talked him out of, convincing him that not everyone wants the world to know what their new number was going to be! But I could still make her something nice, honest ;-)
OK, so I started with the other, smaller image stamp from Dandelion Wishes but quickly realised I needed more density of  images for this style of card so I stamped the tripe flower image three times to come up with this...
I then die cut her name using Large Letter framelits.
Before adhering the outline to a navy card layer then adding back in the letters using foam strips.
Wrap with gold thread (retired) and layer onto a white card base.
The lady this was for messaged my hubby and said it was "the most beautiful card she'd ever had."
*blush*
I do love an eclipse card, what do you think?
