Dandelion Wishes Eclipse Card

Hello,
My husband recently asked me to a make a special card for a lovely lady he works with for a big birthday. He originally asked for her number on the card, which I swiftly talked him out of, convincing him that not everyone wants the world to know what their new number was going to be! But I could still make her something nice, honest ;-)
OK, so I started with the other, smaller image stamp from Dandelion Wishes but quickly realised I needed more density of  images for this style of card so I stamped the tripe flower image three times to come up with this...
I then die cut her name using Large Letter framelits.
Before adhering the outline to a navy card layer then adding back in the letters using foam strips.
Wrap with gold thread (retired) and layer onto a white card base.
The lady this was for messaged my hubby and said it was "the most beautiful card she'd ever had."
*blush*
I do love an eclipse card, what do you think?

Peach Wedding Card using Jar of Love and Large Letter Framelits.

Hello,
Following on from yesterday's RSVP to a wedding we have been invited to in September I have an actual Wedding card to share today! This time though, it was made for a work colleague to give to friends of her's.
She requested it be made in peach tones and had seen my navy blue wedding card I have now made a couple of times already so we went with that! And I must just warn you that it's a picture heavy post ;-)
So, I used Jar of Love flowers in Grapefruit Grove and Calypso Coral teamed with the Large Letter Framelits to make this card...
I stamped the flowers half way up where the die cut will be then cut the letters out before adhering with foam strips. The strips go a really long way and make it super quick to add these letters.
I used some of the coral ombre ribbon and added a sentiment from Floral Phrases underneath.
I printed the happy couples name inside and added a few matching stamped hearts...
And decorated the lid of the box with more flowers, to match the letters.
And one final photo to finish :-D
The lady I made it for was really pleased, let's hope the happy couple are too ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today, Hope you get a chance to craft this weekend!

Eclipse Card for a 21st Birthday using Mixed Drinks

Hello there!
Today I want to share with you the card I made when my eldest turned 21 recently :-) How old do feel??? Lol! To tell you a (not very funny) story he kindly pointed out how much younger Emma Bunton looked on TV the other day considering she is the same age as me! Erm, yes, thanks for that, son... Time to trade that kid in I think... ;-)
Anyway, I wanted to do an Eclipse card and have his name and age on it so I made this card using the Mixed Drinks stamps....
I started by stamping the beer and bubbles and I coloured in the froth too before die cutting his name and age.
I layered the white card, flat onto navy card before adding the popped up sections with foam strips, so quick!
I needed a small-ish gift box so I used one of the silver mini gable boxes and decorated it to match the card.
  Adding Gold Faceted Gems...
...as well as some cute, corduroy ribbon to secure the box closed (and make it take a bit longer to open ;-))
And that's it, my biggest baby is 21! And what a lovely young man he has grown to be (apart from when he's insulting me, of course, lol!) Seriously though, we are super proud of him :-)
Well, that's it from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card for a new challenge with Inspire. Create. I do hope you'll join me here?
Thanks for looking today,

Large Letter Baby Card for Laike

Hello there!
How are your Christmas preparations going?  I have been pedal to the metal this week and finally finished the wrapping and the posting today... I hope! I don't know about you but I always have that nagging worry that I've forgotten something/someone even though I have lists for daaaays!
In other news have you seen the CLEARANCE RACK has been updated with loads of fabby products including dies, ink pads and lots of twine and ribbon (my favourite accessory), hurry and take a peek before the good stuff goes...
So, today's card is the baby card I sort of mentioned in THIS POST last week when I talked about these personalised cards being keepsakes! Baby Laikes mum told me she wants to frame this card for him. It made my day, that did :-))))
So, I went with a slightly different colour combo for this card. Rather than pastels that are usually associated with baby cards I used the Garden Green heart paper from Coffee Break DSP and teamed it with navy. I really think it turned out awesome (can I say that??) Take a look and let me know what you think...
I used stampin blends in Crumb Cake and Navy to colour these stripes on this (retired) baby vest. One of just a few stamp sets I have kept after it retired :-)
Instead of foam strips (which are fab, especially for speed) I decided to die cut the letters three extra times and layer them together for extra impact!
Psst! This yummy navy twine is in the clearance rack ;-)
All finished off with a few enamel stars.
So, what do you think? Yay or Nay? I'd love to know... You can leave me a message in the comments...
OK well that's all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by at this crazy busy time of year, I appreciate it so much xxx
I'll be back soon with more! :-)
