Mothers day for nan and Nanny Mc Phee!

Hello,
Welcome to another week! where did the last one go?? did you all have a great Mothers Day? we managed to get most of the shed built on Saturday then had both mums round yesterday for lunch and catching up, lovely but I can't beleive it's the working week again already!!!
But here as promised, if a little later than planned ;0) is the card I made for my mum to send to nan for mothers day, I used the gorgeous Greenhouse Garden stamp set teamed with Tea and Crumpets papers
Regal Rose ribbon to match the flowers,
and a couple of little ones inside too.
Last of all for today is a quick piccie of our Zo, she lost her 2nd front tooth months ago and calls herself Nanny Mc Phee!! finally though the other one is starting to come through, so I took a photo to remember her Nanny face ;0)

LOL!!
Hope this puts a smile on your face this week too, it always cheers me up when she does it, bless her x
Thanks for dropping by and I will try really hard to be a better blogger this week,

Greenhous Garden 70th Birthday

Hello,
Hows ya doin' today? Before I show you today's card I just want to say why not pop over to my friend Rubys blog as she has some yummy candy on offer.
Well onto the card, and as the title suggests it is a card using the Greenhouse Garden set, this fab set at the moment (until the end of feb) will also help the people of the devastated country of Haiti, click HERE to read more about it on the SU! website, I will also happily match their £1 donation for every set you order from me ;0)
So here is the Tri-Fold card I have made using this very pretty set, it is a 2 step stampin' set which just means you can get a great image using toning colours in layers, here I used Pretty in Pink for the base colour and Regal Rose for the detail top layer, I aslo popped a few little pearls on some of the background flowers and some super soft satin ribbon,
On the first fold inside I used just the top layer of one of the flowers to make a co-ordinating but more muted background pattern, Sentiments were printed off the computer,
and the centre panel inside is left blank as I think there are lots of people to sign it,
That's it then for today, if you 'need' this set then now is a great time to get your inky mitts on it... what with helping Haiti and Sale-a-Bration both running until the end of Feb, please do get in touch for more info,
Hope you have a great weekend,

Special Offer for Sunday only, a card and helping Haiti

Hello everyone,
I have sooo much to tell you today and I would like to share a card with you also, so grab a cuppa it's gonna be a long post!
Well, first up, I would like to say a very special Thank-You to the lovely ladies who came to my card class yesterday, I had a great time and I hope you all did too :0)
Next up, a one day only special offer, if you spend a minimum of £45 today, before 10pm I am offering you postage for just £2! that's in addition to getting a free stamp set of your choice from the sale-a-bration leaflet, email me your order at sarah-janerae@sky.com better be quick, you've only got 'till 10 o'clock tonight!
I will share my card with you next, the lovely bird cage is from Happy Moments (a FREE set from the sale-a-bration leaflet, link above)

Background is stamped with Bella Toile background stamp, inked in Versamark, I added a "spine" to this card for extra dimension then ribbon in pleats, I wrapped linen thread around it to flatten it slightly :0)

Birdcage was inked with SU markers, I am looking to start a club to collect the markers, email me if you want some more details, I can highly recommend the markers and a club is a fab way of getting them, 4 months of £25 and 1 of the months {if you want to spend the extra £50} you can get the hostess benefits,

Anyways back to the card, I also stamped the cage on the inside in creamy caramel which I stamped off once to make it paler.
I hope you like.
Finally for today SU! are helping the devastated people of Haiti and you can join them! Until 28th February for every sale of the Greenhouse Garden SU! will set aside £1 and donate it to The International Red Cross who are already well established in Haiti to provide immediate relif and long term support in Haiti and I will happily match that.
SU! have already bought some supplies for some 5,000 hygiene kits, read more about this on Shelli's blog.
Here is a sample of an invitation made using the Greenhouse Garden set, Full details HERE,
Right, that's it for now, I hope you have a great Sunday and that you will take me up on my very special offer for just today ;0) catch up later,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
P.S. Don't forget to enter my blog candy on the post above, winner to be drawn next Friday.

Greenhouse Garden Invitations

Hello to you all today,
I hope your Halloween day is going well. Are you all looking forward to going trick or treating tonight? I know we are :0) just about to start decorating the house...
First of all though, here are the invitations I mentioned the other day, These were a request from a friend who is having a tea party for her mums birthday in a few weeks, but as I am away on Thursday to Germany (Whooo, hooo SU convention) for the weekend and I have also got loads on this week including going to the theatre on Tuesday to see HSM 2 {;0)} and working all the other nights up to Thursday, so I thought I had better get on with them!!
Base card is some lovely pearl card I have had in my stash for absolute ages, Ink pads for this pretty colour combo are Pale Plum and Perfect Plum with layers of Pale Plum card.
I made this from A4 card cut down and scored into a tri-fold card, then added a removable band which I printed You're Invited onto.

I am totally in love with this set, it is a 2 step set a bit like A Rose is a Rose but 4 different flowers and 2 stems for only £22.95 which I think is fantastic value for 10 stamps.
Invitation was printed from the computer.

Here is the dimensional shot, as you can see I have raised the image on the front band but layered the image at the top of the invite so it is between the layers of the invitation, IYKWIM!
And finally here they are all together, surprisingly they didn't take all that long -once I had decide on the design of course, that took me ages as usual!! I did do another sample for my friend to choose which one she liked, so I will share that with you probably on Monday.
Last thing left to say is have a lovely Halloween...
Wwwhhhhhahahahahahahahah!!!
