Lotus Blossom by Stampin' Up! Another White on Crumb Cake Card!

Hello,
As you probably know we are now headed for the last stretch of this years Sale-a-Bration (the finish date is the 31st March :-( ) and as usual I have mostly all the products offered this year, with just a few bits coming tomorrow from the extra selection ;-).
With so many ideas floating around my head still I know haven't used lots of the products any where near enough to say goodbye and as I always end up wanting more time to play I decided to make it my mission at class this week to use SaB products as much as possible ;-)
With that in mind, and after THIS CARD being so popular, I decided to see if this look would work well with the Lotus Blossom stamp set (free with a £45 order). I think it did and the ladies at class loved it too, what do you think?
So we worked backwards to the numerical order shown on the stamps and stamped the largest, solid stamp first in White Craft Ink and the solid stems before blasting them with the heat gun to dry the white ink...
...then adding the number two layer (after stamping off once) in Blackberry Bliss then stamping the full strength inked smallest stamp at the end.
This sentiment is one of two included in the FREE Lotus Blossom stamp set
I had some purple sequins in my stash that worked perfectly
and a final shot of the flower :-)
Well, I hope you liked today's card?
I'll be back tomorrow with another class card for you but 'till then,
Stampin' Hugs,

Two Minute Tuesday Video - using the Lotus Blossom stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
And a huge welcome to the first of my new series of "Two Minute Tuesday" videos sharing top tips, demostrations and techniques with you.
So, to kick off today I have a video sharing the Sale-a-Bration FREE  Lotus Blossom 3-step stamp.
In this video I share with how you can stamp both the flower and stem using two, coordinating coloured ink pads and also how you can achieve a great look using just one ink pad.
Please do let me know what you think :-)
Here are the three cards I shared this week all made using just one ink pad for the flower.
Well, I hope you liked today's post? And if there is something in particular you would like to see please do send me a message and I'll do my very best to help :-)

Stampin' Up! Lotus Blossom Sale-a-Bration set with Silver Vellum

Hello!
Today's card is a direct case of THIS CARD I made and shared with you a couple of weeks ago. I loved it and decided to try it in a couple of different colours combos. I used the fabulous FREE Lotus Blossom Sale-a-Bration stamp set which uses a 3 step stamping technique to achieve this look.
I'll start today with the Bermuda Bay ink with Retro Fresh Washi tape accents on a Silver Foil Vellum layer, take a look...
And here I made a Rose Red Lotus Blossom with Silver Bakers twine around the top to decorate
and here are all three together! Do you prefer the Gold or Silver Vellum? I'm loving Gold (everything) myself right now ;-) but these silver spots are sooo sweet....
OK, short and sweet today as I'm off to work in a mo.
Thanks for looking today and if you have any questions about Sale-a-Bration or how to get your own Lotus blossom stamp set please drop me a line ;-)

Lotus Blossom Sale-a-Bration stamp set by Stampin' up! with Washi Tape

Hello!
I've got a set of quick and pretty notecards to share with you today using the Sale-a-Bration Lotus Blossom stamp set which is just lovely! It's a 3 step stamp which means there are 3 layers to stamp to make this flower image look so pretty! It's really very versatile and is great fun to use too.
I needed some Thank-You cards this week for customers so I decided to have a little play about with this set to make these cards...
This set comes with this sentiment. The bottom Sahara Sand Washi tape is from the Sweet Dream Washi Tape pack but the other two  are unfortunately retired. You could use the Beach House Washi instead though and these are in the Weekly Deals 'till 11pm tonight and are just £3.38 'till then!
I stamped the lovely flower in Rose Red with an Old Olive stem
This is a simple single layer card but I popped the sentiment on dimensionals on top of silver glimmer paper circle
and here are a few together
Right, that's all for today.
I'll be back tomorrow with a sewing project :-)
Thanks for looking today
