Two Ways With Merry Tags by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
I'm back after a wonderful weekend away with my fellow SU! demonstrator friends in Telford where we had a fabulous catch up and found out all the new and exciting things happening in the SU! world including a preview of the many lovely things in the catalogues coming in January! But, for me it's still all about Christmas and I still have a ton of Christmas cards to share with you!
So, I'm going to start to share the cards from my all day classes a couple of weeks ago where we made three each of seven different cards.
I decided, in my infinite wisdom, to design two versions of each card which turned out to be a little more work than we had time for in class so the ladies had to really work hard at this class! Sorry about that, sort of.... lol.
Everyone received in their kit the following...
Plus a selection of Mini Jingle Bells, Mini Pinecones and a few Christmas Trinkets so you'll see these scattered on the cards I share with you over the next week or so.
So, with this first card I designed this version which is perfect for hand delivering as there is one of the lovely charms at the top and we added dimensionals between the glitter tag layers to make them pop...
These charms are quite heavy and so there are a few things that you can do to help hold them in place.  You can see my TIPS VIDEO HERE.
This sentiment works perfectly on this card with it's staggered look, it's from the Star Of Light stamps.
And here is a second version which I kept flat (you may have noticed I don't do many flat fronted cards!) for posting.
Love these tags dies and this mini deer one is my favourite of all of them!
TIP: When die cutting these tags from glimmer paper use the precision plate and run it through the big shot a couple of times to ensure it cuts through the thick glitter card.
Add a few of the lovely gold enamel shapes and that's it done!
And that's all for today :-)

Using Merry Tags and Star Of Light by SU! to make a mini Christmas Tree Card

Hello!
I had a fantastically fun day yesterday at this months card class. We were using Cookie Cutter Christmas, a stamp set that the more I used it the more I loved it! I will share the pictures of the cards we made on here over the next week for you.
Anyway, today I have another card for you using the Merry Tags dies and today I have teamed it with the fantastic swirl from the Star of Light stamp set for the background, see...
I die cut the tree tag from crumb cake card and sponged it with a little white craft ink to highlight the tree before adding the solid garden green tag behind.
The tags dies are fab-u-lous on their own but you save 10% by purchasing as a bundle with the matching stamps so I've popped both links at the end of the post ;-)
This sentiment is also from the Star of Light stamp set, did you notice my little oops? ;-)
Lovely Fancy Frost sequins and Gold Bakers Twine add some bling.
And one final pic to finish today :-)
So, thank you for stopping by today and I do hope you've enjoyed today's card?

A Merry Tags Card using Stampin' Up! Christmas 2016 Products

Hello and welcome today :-)
I must just tell you that the CLEARANCE RACK has been updated today! Go see now (they'll be sure to sell out quickly, I'm sure) and grab a crafty bargain!!
I do have an order going in this evening if you'd like to add to it but I can't guarantee what you want will still be available.... I recommend ordering from my shop directly if you are desperate for anything, else pop your order to me and I'll add it this evening (around 10.30) for free post (collected).
So, I have a quick and easy card today using the very lovely Merry Tags stamps and dies again - loving this stamp and die combo!
For this card I used colour combination of Kraft, Emerald Envy and a touch of Smoky Slate...
TIP: I stamped the circle image from the set and heat embossed it using the new Emerald Envy glitter powder then die cut around it, this ensured it was in the centre of the die cut (easily).
That bakers twine you can see is from the Candy Cane Lane set and it's metallic red - this is a very sparkly card IRL ;-)
This sentiment is from the Peace This Christmas stamp set which you can find in the main catalogue and the snowflakes and sparkles are from the Stitched With Cheer set from the A/W Catty
That embossing powder.... *sigh*
This card went down well at a recent get together and I hope you like it too?
Don't forget my prize draw this month, one entry with any order (over £25) and of course please use the hostess code below for more freebies in October! Thanks for looking today!
