Epic Celebrations, Red Converse Card

Hi!
Today I have another SaB make, did you get hold of 'Epic Celebrations'? I will definitely be keeping this set as a mum of three (two boys and a girl) it will be invaluable for those tricky teens (and older!)
I think this is a card that would work well for anyone who loves Converse style trainers (arguably most teens?) let's see...
I started by stamping the trainers in position and colouring them with my blends before stamping the sentiment, ensuring it would straddle both where the die cut area will be and the main section of card.
I then used the stitched edge dies (perfect for adding a little extra 'oomph' to this inlaid die cut technique) to cut a circle before adhering the white outer section to a Smoky Slate card layer. Finish by adding back in the die cut, also flat to the SS card layer.
Wrap with ribbon and add to a cherry cobbler card base and finish with some enamel shapes!
And that's it. I hope you like today's card? Do you have this set too?
Right, I'll be back soon with another card, 'till then, happy stamping!

Pink Converse with Epic Celebration - A FREE Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set

Hello there,
Today's fun card uses the awesome Epic Celebration (FREE SaB) samp set! This is a fantastic set for those tricky males/teens but, as you'll see here, it is also awesome for a more feminine card too, see...
I stamped the converse trainers with memento ink onto thick white card then coloured them with Pink Pirouette ink and a touch of smoky slate using a blender pen.
I heat embossed the sentiment in silver (from the same set) and die cut it using the smallest stitched edge framelits before rolling it through the same pink pirouette ink pad to give it a little pop without adding lots of layers :-)
Of course I topped the shoes with a swish of clear wink of stella glitter! *heart eyes* and finished the card by adding the front panel onto a basic grey card base leaving just a 2.5mm border either side.
OK, that's all from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card.
'till then, happy samping!
