Blooming Flowers

Hello,
I made this card to fit in with the ILWS challenge this month, it is a colour challenge to use So Saffron, Basic Grey, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. I had to have a play with this set as I only got it last week and I love it already, great for water colouring!
So I stamped the flower with black Staz On onto Confetti card stock (which is a bit thicker for water colouring) and the "Bloom" word in Basic Grey ink onto Vellum Card stock which I tore and attached with silver brads,

Background is stamped with 'En Francaise' onto So Saffron card with the same colour ink and look at the cute bumble bee, aww
and here is the arty angle

Well, I hope you like today's card
and thanks for stopping by today,

Jeannettes Birthday :0)

Good Morning to you all,
I have scheduled this post as today I'm taking the kids out today to a tree house centre which is just down the road from me. I didn't even realise it was so close 'till last week when Zack was invited to a party there in a couple of weeks, *shame on me* They have got an open day tomorrow as it's half term with lots of fun things to do. I think I am looking forward to it more than the kiddies !!
Right onto the card, this one is for Jeannette, my SU! sister who's birthday it was on Tuesday, hope it was a good one hun xxx I hope she has got this already what with the postal strike and all...

I used a different design for a change today, thought you may get fed up with seeing easel style ones!?! Don't worry I'm sure they will be back very soon,

Stamp set used is the fab Flight of the Butterfly with it's matching punch {{love it}}
Card is Pale Plum with matching Pale Plum and Perfect Plum inks,

Some butterflies were stamped on card and then others stamped on SU! Vellum card stock and heat embossed using clear embossing powder to set.

I tied this one for dimension with some ribbon I had in my stash,

And finally here is the side view so you can see properly the mountains and valleys, said in a very "Stacey (Gavin and Stacey)" way :0) LOL!!
I hope you are all enjoying the half term break, do come back tomorrow as I have been working on a set of invites for a friend who is having a little get together for her mum's 75th birthday.
I hope to see you here,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
