Four Feathers by Stampin' Up! with Decorative Masks for a Birthday

Hello!
I have a card for you today I made this week for my Nan's birthday. It's OK, she definitely will not see this post! ;-) I recently purchased this new stamp and matching die set Four Feathers so had a little play around with it to come up with this card using a colour combo of Blackberry Bliss and Strawberry Slush...

 I only added glue to the bottom of the feathers so they had plenty of dimension still.
I also had a play with my new Decorative Masks, this one was inked using Strawberry Slush and a dauber, it couldn't be easier.
To add the twine I stapled it to the card using the new handheld stapler and tied the twine around the staple, that way it stays nice and secure.
 Sassy Salutations was stamped in Blackberry Bliss which I was really not sure I would use a lot when it came out tbh, but I really like it. Sometimes you just need to have a go with something new before deciding, that's what I love about classes
And some sequins again for that bit of bling.
 Inside uses stamped off images for a paler look
OK, that's all for today, I'll be back tomorrow with a tutorial I have done to help with mounting wooden stamps, especially sentiments.
Hope to see you here!

I'm Home! and an offer for you too!!

Hello!
I hope you are well? I have been away on our family holiday visiting with my Dad and his partner in Spain for the last two and a bit weeks, did you notice?? Probably not if you only follow me here on my blog as I spent many a long hour before I left scheduling posts to keep you updated and inspired (I hope!)
I shared a few pics on my FACEBOOK page if you do the social media thing, if not here are a couple for you to see :-)
Me and hubby and then the Kids together... looking like they all like each other... for just a moment anyway ;-)
 Shirley, my Dad, Me and Hubby
and lastly a *really* blurry selfie, but fun!
~~~
 OK, back to crafting! I have done absolutely no crafting while I was away so please bear with me as I *finally* get to dive into my new Christmas stash, it all came a couple of days before we left but all I could do was look and think about it as I was packing and all that jazz you have to do before you go anywhere!
Also while I was away SU! started a promo for hostesses out there so if you have long fancied a crafty party or perhaps a private class (min 6 persons) maybe making a Christmas card or getting started with Project Life or perhaps an idea of your own then please do GET IN TOUCH and arrange a day or evening when I can visit and share some SU! goodies with you and your friends!
Plus, if you manage to get over £200 in orders from now until the 31st October and receive a bonus FREE stamp set called Good Greetings. I have a set and let me tell you it's fab! Choc full of really... well, good greetings! lol! It is a lovely font and one I will be using again and again I'm sure, message me today to book a party!
 Here's a close up of the font and sentiments...
OK, I'm itching to get crafting again so (after working tonight) I will be holed up in my craft room this weekend I hope.
I will be back here again ASAP with a crafty creation but I do have a couple of things to share this weekend too so watch this space...
Very Merry Christmas with Little Letters Thinlits by Stampin' Up!
Hello!
I'm here today with my first Christmas card on the blog (I think)  but certainly not my first Christmas card this year!
I made this one using the new Alphabet Thinlit dies called Little Letters and backed them with shiny glimmer paper, the sweet little snowflake is from the stamp set Cheerful tags...
*heart* these NEW sequins from the Autumn/Winter catty,
Sparkly Glimmer Paper backing,
and a simple bow using smoky slate 3mm taffeta ribbon finishes this card off!
OK that's all from me for today,
Back soon with another card!
Men's card using Birthday Surprise with Dotty Angles by Stampin' Up!
Hi there,
Back to men's card again today! I have the same colour combo as the other day but this time I was playing with my new set Dotty Angles.
This is a photopolymer set which means that although the triangle band (stamped here in Smoky Slate) does not stretch all the way across the front of your card you can still easily line it up with no hassle to make a continuous image like I did here...
 I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Surprise across the bottom in Lost Lagoon and a few stars from Be The Star using Versamark around too
 and a little clip tied with Lost Lagoon ribbon decorates, this clip is retired but try the new Basic Hodgepodge clips for similar, see links at the end of the post
Short and sweet today,
Thanks for looking
