Rainbow Sneak Peek for SAB 2014

Hello there,

I hope that you are having some sun where you are as we have finally spotted some blue sky for the first time today in a very long while!

The card I have to share with you today is a Sneaky Peek at the upcoming Sale-a-Bration goodies you could be earning for FREE from the 28th January (earn one free product fro every £45 spent with me :-))

On this card I have 2 freebies! The first is the cute little banner punch I made the rainbow with, the clouds are the Cupcake Punch on a Soft Sky (prefect name ;-)) layer..

 The second sneak product for you today is this super sweet sentiment, which I think is just adorable! It might even be my favourite of the whole SAB catalogue?!

 and a side view where you can see I gently turned the ends of the banners up using my bone folder before adhering them to the card ;-)

And one last thing I want to share with you today is that the Envelope Liner dies are now discounted by a whopping 40%!! That's just £13.95 while stocks last!! (this is because the largest die has square corners, which do fit our envelopes, but the new version, when they are released, will have rounded corners), PLUS you can also make cute little treat holders like these with them ;-)

Hi there,

I have a quick little card using the soon to be going from the Spring Mini Create a Cupcake stamp set and punch, I ma going to miss this little punch, not least because it will go fantastically with one of the fab NEW stamp sets from the new Summer mini that is just around the corner ;-)

So, today's card uses embedded embossing which I was reminded of from Christmas by a card Jules made last week (or so) Cheers Jules!

 I stamped the sentiment from Curly Cute before embossing with the Square Lattice Folder

 and an arty angle to finish ;-)

OK, another quick post but I do have a very different Spiced Paisley card tomorrow for you!

Stampin' Up! Buttton Rainbow

Hi there,

I have another quick post today sharing a card I saw on Pinterest (LOVE it over there, inspiration abound!) You may even have noticed this one on my new blog header??

 I made my Rainbow using SU! Brights buttons, tied with crochet thread and little Cupcake Punch clouds again at each end :-)

 I used the Polka Dot Embossing folder on the clouds this time after I inked the edges in Baja Breeze ink, remember this punch is going at the end of the month and I am not sure whether it will be in the new catalogue, get yours now!!

 and a simple double layer inside to finish

Stampin' Up! Create a Cupcake with a stand tutorial

Hello there,

I spent a lovely day with Zoe in town yesterday, hence my lack of a post. It was her birthday a couple of weeks ago and she loves clothes and shopping...so that's what we did, all day! She got herself some lovely clothes and we had a fab "Girly Shopping Day" together.

Anyway, back to the card I have today. I used the lovely create a cupcake stamp set and punch to make this card, but I wanted a stand for it to sit on so I played with my punches and came up with this

 I did the sprinkle of glitter technique on the cherry with Crystal Effects like I did on Zoe's card last week

 Inside this sentiment is also in the cupcake stamp set

 and this is how I made the little stand, Tab punch, Large Oval and Scallop Oval punches

Remember this stamp set and matching punch will be gone at the end of the month, possibly not to return, who knows??

Stampin' Up! Borderlines...going soon!

Hello there,

Grotty weather here today, typical bank holiday don't you think?? ;-)

Anyway, I have a card that will cheer you up I'm sure! I have been seeing lots of rainbows around of late, so I decided to make a Rainbow card with the lovely Borderlines stamps, REMEMBER this set will NOT be available after the 30th April when the Spring Mini ends!! Gutted!

So, I stamped the floral line in rainbow colours and then cut it out using the Top Note die

 adding clouds using the Cupcake punch! ((Another item not available after the 30th April)) I  inked the edges with Baja Breeze and embossed with .... a sneak peek from the Summer Mini ;-)

 and a touch of stamping and embossing inside to finish

I have to admit to loving this card (can you say that about your own cards???) It just feels very summery and I am soooo ready for some sun right now!
