Inspire. Create challenge #24 "Florals" Using Healing Hugs.

Hello!
Wow! Another week, another fun challenge at Inspire. Create and this weeks theme is Florals :-)
I needed a "Thank you" card recently so I turned to the very lovely Healing Hugs stamp set and made this...
I made the background myself using watercolour paper with Smoky Slate and Powder Pink ink pads. It actually ended up looking a bit like marble, don't you think?
I stamped the roses in Lovely Lipstick and the leaves in Mint Macaron before fussy cutting! It was super quick though, please don't be put off by fussy cutting ;-)
I stamped the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts in basic grey, using my Stamparatus so I could repeat stamp (which I did) if it didn't stamp fully over the background.
So, that's my card for the challenge this week. Head over to the challenge blog to see what the other DT have made and please do share your "Floral" creations with us! We'd love to see :-)

Stitched All Around with Petal Promenade DSP

Hi!
Today I have a card that showcases the Petal Promenade DSP. I think these papers are really special. My husband, not so much! Lol! I kindly informed him he was wrong and he did concede that he liked the finished card, ha ha ha!
OK, so here I teamed the papers with the Stitched All Around Bundle...
And you can watch a little video HERE, made by SU! and showing how they were designed and made. So clever!
I'm loving Fresh Fig with this paper design but there are other lovely floral sheets in pinks too.
(more cards to come here soon ;-))
I added a little strip of card and a few sequins to finish this card but honestly, the paper is everything on it's own! IMO, of course ;-)
So, do you love this paper too??

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi there,
Today I have a pair of cards that no crafter ever really wants to make and that no friend ever wants to have to send :-(
I used a Fresh Fig and White colour combo with a retired stamp set I have in my stash to make these...
I stamped the flower onto shimmery white card before watercolouring the flower with aqua painters and the stem using blender pens.

I made a frame from stitched edge framelits using Fresh Fig card to surround the watercoloured (retired) flower image. The flower in the "Love What You Do" stamp set would be a great alternative. Threading the sentiment, stamped onto vellum, through the frame.
Adding a few rhinestones to finish.
I know making these cards is never a nice thing to have to do but hopefully they send a message of love to the recipient at such a tough time.

Botanical Bliss Bundle for Inspire. Create. Challenges

Hello there and welcome to today's post :-)
It's time again for another challenge (#22) with Inspire. Create and this week it's a colour challenge. I love the fresh feel of these colours together...
And I chose to use the very pretty Botanical Bliss Bundle for the first time to make this card!
I actually don't have the Shaded Spruce ink pad yet (shocking, I know!) so I used the matching colour card and die cut the leaf vines down the side. I'm sharing that snippet with you here just to say that don't have to have every ink pad and /or cardstock colour to join in. Either or a mix will be perfectly fine!
I die cut three of the flowers and stacked them together for that little something extra.
On a side note, aren't you just thrilled that Coastal Cabana is back?
I added a few pink stamped mini leaves with the vines and a sentiment from the set, layered onto Powder Pink Card, to finish :-)
So, are you inspired by these colours to join us this week? We'd really love to see what you come up with! For much more inspiration please head over to the challenge blog HERE and see the amazing makes by rest of the DT.
Thanks so much for looking here today :-D
