Wheely Great cards ;0)

Hello and welcome to another scheduled post ;0)
I am not sure how I will take to not looking round your blogs and shh, don't say it too loud, but NO crafting??!!!! I'm sure I will miss checking on you all...

Anyway I joined in a swap before I left for my hols on ILWS with some other demos, the inspiration for the swap was to make a card using one of the fab wheels which SU sell. This is what I came up with. I made Joy fold cards and water coloured the images with a blender pen and Ink Pads, the wheel is called Neighbourhood, I also decoupaged one of the houses for a bit more of an accent,

I used the yummy Summer Picnic papers, sentiment from Loads of Love Accessories, flower from Seeing Spots, 5/8 " Old Olive grosgrain Ribbon.
Although this was probably not one of my smartest moves because although I loved joining in with this swap well, I just had soooo much to do before going away I probably could have done without the added pressure of malking an extra 9 cards :0) IYKWIM! anyway I did enjoy this swap and must make a point of using these fab wheels more often, so thanks Alex for organising this :0) Here they all are together...
=

Thats all for today, but I will be home soon :0)

Loads of love for Saturday

Hiya all,
Gonna have to be quick today again as Zack off to pre-school in a mo!
As promised here is the next sneeky peek at Saturdays class.

I have used the great 'Loads of Love' set for this one and some gorgeous close to cocoa for the base card, I also used 'Old Olive DSP' {in the share} other items used (all SU!) 'Loads of love accessories', Earth elements button, Linen thread, Oval and Scalloped Oval Punches, 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Above is a close up of the truck which I coloured using ink pads and blender pens.
Still a couple of places left for Saturdays class, details in the side bar.
Thanks for dropping by and for any comments you may leave, they really brighten my day :0)

New Home Card

Morning Folks,
Well, it looks like it may just be another lovely day today (fingers crossed).
Today I have a new home card to show you. It was sent to the lovely Ruby who has not long moved, I am just hoping she has received it already, well, I sent it a week ago so I should be O.K. to post on here... (hope you do have it Ruby!)

I have used the Neighbourhood wheel for the houses in the background and water coloured them with ink pads. The little truck is from the Loads of Love set and the furniture in the back is from the Loads of Love accessories. I cut the hole with my nesties and ribbon and card stock is from my stash. Sentiment is computer generated and punched with SU! punches.

If anyone is interested in how I made this and would like me to do a tutorial leave me a comment and I will try to fit one in sometime this week.

Just a quick reminder for anyone reading this who lives near Dibden Purlieu (Southampton/ New Forest) don't forget I am having a card making class this Saturday at my house- details in the side bar- I still have a couple of places left! I would love to see you here x

Have a great day and I hope the sun shines wherever you are too
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
