Anniversary Card for hubby using Perfect Couple and NEW Weekly deals

Hello!
It's Wednesday again ;-) and that means NEW

Weekly deal time! This week we have another fab selection including lots of Embossing goodies- Dry Embossing folders, embossing powders and the Heat Tool! Now, just lately I have been having a whole lot of fun with Heat Embossing not just here on my blog but with the other projects I have been working on too, I seem to turn to my heat tool a lot ;-) remember it's also good for hurrying along drying things too for things like water-colouring (which seems to be around a lot lately also). So, to see the deals GO HERE to my shop. *Please remember if you click "No Contact" when you order I can't see your address and so I can't send a thank-you card, so if you are one of the lovely people who have ordered from me in the last few weeks then I want to say thank-you for choosing to shop with me xx*

OK, onto the card! I made today's card for my DH last week as we celebrated our 18th Wedding Anniversary.
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and added a layer of Silver Heart Vellum, stitching it around the card to secure
I inked the couple with markers
TIP: I have actually cut the sentiment away, on my (clear) stamp set, from this couple to make them easier to use and more versatile #makeyourstampsworkforyou
Then I added the other sentiment from the set and used THIS TECHNIQUE to emboss with my heart framelits adding versamark hearts from the My Mother stamp set
and a close up of the lovely Vellum, so shiny :-)))
Inside I did add the sentiment from Yippee-Skippee,
I love this sentiment and to me it says everything about being better together...
OK, that's me done for today, I'll be back tomorrow with a football card :-)
'till then, Happy Stampin'

Peachy Keen with Perfect Couple

Hello there,
I'm back again today with this little card I made at a class a couple of weeks ago, I really do love this "Perfect Couple" stamp set and really wanted to use it in class. Doesn't it look fresh in this colour combo of Strawberry Slush and Basic Grey with a dash of both black and silver?
I saw this card by Amy O'Neill and was totally inspired by the layout and the film framelit to make this version...
 and a side view
TOP TIP: I adhered the vellum with glue under the image and frame and secured the top with the twine
OK, that's all from me for today, I'm off now to find where that lil' bunny has hidden all the chocolate! ;-)
Thanks for looking today,

Perfect Couple CAS card

Hi there,
Today's card is another I made with the fab Perfect Couple stamp set.
This is a much more CAS (clean and simple) card, a bit different to my usual style and I haven't even added ribbon, as tempting as that was! Colours used are Raspberry Ripple with Basic Black and Whisper White.
At this time of year it would make a perfect Valentines card but also a great Anniversary card. For me though I want to make a wedding card with this image, seriously cool!
I inked the image with my markers for this look adding the sentiment in Smoky Slate...
and front panel was popped up on dimensionals. Well, I couldn't go too CAS could I? ;-)
Right, the sun is shining here (finally) and I'm off to do some prep for the start of my classes next week.
I have missed seeing my ladies each fortnight and I'm really looking forward to catching up with everyone!
I do still have one place left on both Saturday and Tuesday, if you want to join us please message me at sarah-janerae@sky.com

Perfect Couple Card with Framelits Embossing Guide

Hello there,
I have finally had a creative day and it feels great! I seem to have been trying to do this for weeks and either had crafters block, been poorly or just not had time to get in there. So, today I managed to make 6 cards and do some (crafty) organisation of my wires, more of which I will share with you over the next week or so.
Quickly before I share today's card I want to just say classes are coming back! I have just one place left on the stamp-a-stack class on Saturday 15th Feb, one place left on Tuesday 18th but plenty on Monday 17th February, please do message me of you want to come to my first class of 2014 :-)
OK, onto today's card, this cute set is called Perfect Couple. It's super modern and can be found in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue, I really love it! I made this super cute card in a flash, after I worked out how to emboss with framelits that is, please scroll down to see a better picture of the embossed bit as well as the sandwich you will need to make yours :-)
I embossed around this image using the new Banner dies and the sandwich you need to achieve this look is..
{working from the bottom up}
***
Magnetic Platform (or multi purpose platform, tab 2 showing)
***
Premium Crease Pad (I recommend a new(ish) one of these as it will be flat, perhaps even keep a spare for this as you don't ever cut it)
***
Stamped card (stamp first so you have flat card to work on and you will get a nice, clear image)
***
Framelit of your choice - CUTTING SIDE UP
***
Acrylic Cutting Pad
***
run through your Big Shot machine to get this look
and a touch of silver bakers twine decorates the corner
OK, that's all from me for today, I hope you have a go at this cool technique, please share if you do :-)))
I'm off to work now, thanks for visiting,
Stampin' Hugs,
