Santa's Workshop Suite: Father Christmas

**You may have seen this post already, so my apologies. I got the date wrong *doh* So, here it is... again! Ooopsie ;-)**
Hello!
And I'm back with another Christmas make again today :-) This time I've delved into the Santa's Workshop suite of products. There's a lot of great stuff in this suite including stamps, dies, enamel shapes and of course DSP (Designer Series Paper.)
This happy looking Santa is actually die cut from the DSP as the dies fit some of the images on there. It makes for some super quick cardmaking! Let me share...
Look at the shine on those enamel shapes! I did do some stamping on this card ;-) including the "seal" which I cut out using the matching dies and the sentiment which was heat embossed in white.
When you die cut an image from the DSP it's cut from thick paper but not card (obviously) and that's great of you are sticking it flat to a card but if you want to add it with dimensionals (and why not?) then my TIP: is to die cut a second shape from a coordinating coloured piece of card and layer the paper onto it! Tah Dah!
I'm not sure if you can tell but this paper is also flocked in places too which makes it just extra fun :-)  And the sentiment is from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set.
If you don't have a demonstrator and would like an Autumn/Winter catalogue I will be sending out copies at the end of the month (when I return home) ready for the 5th September when you can start ordering. Drop me a line if you'd like one at sarah-janerae@sky.com

Christmas Card using Get Your Santa On By Stampin' up!

Hello there,
I have a Christmas card for you today using the super sweet Get Your Santa on stamp set. This set is so easy to colour on Crumb Cake or Kraft card with either blender pens and ink pads (as I've used here) or Blendies (Blendabilities). If you want to have a closer look you could pop along to the Craft Fayre on Sunday at Waterside Club in Holbury (SO45) where I will have a stand :-)
So, today's card...
I used the lovely (and very under used by me!) Polaroid style frame die from the On Film set of framelits to make this card.
I die cut and inked the frame then adhered it to the card...
... before stamping this Santa inside and coloured him with blender pens and ink pads. The snowflakes were added afterwards using sticky notes to mask off the frame.
This cute sentiment is included in the set, I used the cut out section from the centre of the frame, trimmed to 1cm high and stamped the sentiment onto this before trimming and stapling to the bottom of the frame
I used white craft ink for Santa's fur trim but went with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for his beard :-)
a Pear Pizazz cotton ribbon bow around the top with glimmer paper punched stars
and a side view to finish. I adhered the frame flat for posting :-)
Well,  I hope you liked today's card?
I'll be back tomorrow with another card, thanks for stopping by :-)
