Watercoloured Fabulous Flamingo by Stampin' Up!

Hello there and Happy Sunday!
Stampers 6 Club Information HERE
Card Class Information HERE
I have a list of jobs as long as your arm to get through in the next few hours/days.... so obviously I'm going out this afternoon instead! Lol!
Before I do I wanted to share a fun, summery card with you while the weather actually resembles summer (here in the South of the UK, anyway) so I have this fun flamingo card. This "Fabulous Flamingo" stamp set is yet another set I purchased as soon as it came out and hadn't had a chance to play with until now - so many fun products and not anywhere near enough time! I love this image and how this card turned out, take a look....
This flamingo is a three step stamp so (on watercolour paper) I started by stamping using Blushing Bride for the first layer then Flirty Flamingo for the second layer. I then stamped the water and coloured it using an aqua painter and matching ink.  Finally I lightly wet the flamingo image with my stampin' spritzer using just plain water.
Once I was happy with the spread of water and ink I added a few extra flicks of water and some clear wink of stella sprays too before drying it using my heat tool. I then finished with the black outline flamingo image at the end.
All finished with some hand cut leaves and mounted onto Kraft card which is just the perfect balance to this watercoloured look.
Right, that's all from me for me for today, I hope you get a chance to be crafty today! I'll be back tomorrow with another Flamingo card :-)

March Stamp Club Card

Quick post as I am off to work in a mo, I will be doing the tutorial when I come home, I promise!
So, this is the card I sent out the kit for for my Stampers club this month. If you would like to join us I have a new club starting in April, just 2 spots left, please message me to join the fun, more details HERE.
I just had to use some of the DSP from Sale-a-Bration before it goes at the end of this month, see here for my SPECIAL OFFER running for the last week of Sale-a-Bration.
Back to the card, this is the kit the ladies received and I directed them to my ribbon rose tutorial first
and this is the card they can make
I used the spritzing tool (for the first time in ages!) to make a subtle background
and the ribbon rose with a flower from the Blossom Party Die from page 15 of the MINI, remember this catalogue finishes at the end of April!
Right, I have to go to work, back tomorrow with more yumminess!

Dad's Birthday

Good Morning,
Hope all is well with you today, we are supposed to be having a BBQ today but it looks likely to be an indoor one unfortunately :-(
Anyway, I do have a little card for today, I made it for F.I.L birthday which was this week,as well as a Victoria sponge :-)
Card first, I used a colour combo of Certainly Celery and Soft Suede,
I spritzed the Soft Suede layer using the Crumb Cake marker for a subtle background and stitched around the edges adding a piece of Celery satin ribbon too
I used the ole faithful for a male card again, Engraved Greetings! You need this stamp set! and it's only £12.95, page 96 if you want to have a look. DSP is from the Elegant Soiree pack
and I stitched inside too, this time a Crumb Cake layer, and used the stamp to give a ghosted image inside to finish
and the cake, filled traditionally with strawberry jam and buttercream :-D yum!
Well, that's it for today,
I hope you have a fab weekend, whatever the weather ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there!
I have a super quick post as we are just off out to see Neil's Dad for lunch, this is the card I have made for him, very similar to the one I made for my Dad except I went with the "Z" fold again,
Background is stamped with Dot, Dot, Dot which I stamped off some of the times and then I spritzed it using a Real Red pen and the spritzer tool, I also roughed up some of the edges, you can see that better below...
Colours used were Pacific Point and Real Red, sentiment is the same Something to Celebrate level two set I have had so much use form already, love this set! Why not schedule a workshop and earn it for yourself??
One last pic of the card so you can see it all together
Anyway, that's me done for today, have a lovely day today, but especially if you are a Dad!

April Class

Hello!
Happy Easter Monday! How was your Easter Sunday? It was a lovely hot day here and we had a BBQ with my Mum and Hubby's Dad, it's so lovely to be able to eat outside isn't it?? my favourite bit of the summer :-)
Well, this Bank Holiday Monday I had the first of this months classes, and it was great! the projects we made went down well and so did the Rose Water cupcakes! Yum!
So, here is what we made, a card, a bookmark and my favourite- the mini milk carton (surprise!)
I started the card by looking through the mini catalogue and was inspired by one on page 6, I think it turned out quite different though..
much more vintagey with the Glass Glitter for the flower centre, this glitter ages as it sits on your project giving you a tarnished look,
Sentiment is from Artistic Etchings with the Seam Binding having had a thread pulled from the middle to get the ruffle,
Then we had to use the Owl Punch so we made a bookmark inspired by some Julie made,
Love the owl punch with seam binding ribbon around the bottom of the mark,

and finally the mini milk carton, it is similar to the one I made for my Jems swap,
Well, that's today's projects for you, If you would like to come to next months class then please get in touch, we will be making a little brag book and card for Fathers Day. I have some exciting news regarding classes, more details tomorrow once I have told my regular ladies, there's another good reason to come... you get to find out all the details first!
Thanks for stopping by today,

Subtle Summers

Good Morning,
I have a very busy day today again, a long list of jobs to do! I hope at some point to make a card but I am not holding out too much hope as I have been trying for about 4 days now and my mojo appears to have disappeared completely!! Luckily I have a card I made last week to share with you today ;-) now, I used Sweet Summer (again) but this time I made a card in Subtle colours of the Blue, Pink and Green colourway I used before. So Pear Pizzaz, Pink Pirouette and Marina Mist for this one,

Super soft wide striped grosgrain ribbon with a button from the subtles collection wrapped around it,

sentiment from Basic Phrases punched with Word Window and finished with a Gem Brad,

and an arty angle to finish,

If you would like this (or any other FREE set from the SAB catalogue) then email me with your order :-D
Have a great stampin' day
Hugs,
