"First Steps" Baby Card

Hello there,
I still have a million cards (exaggeration for the point and all that!) to share with you using products that are retiring in a few short days! So, I'm going to make this a super quick post so I can finally edit some pictures for more posts ;-)
This card was made for our friend who had a beautiful baby girl and I used the First Steps stamp set with the rectangle dies to make this...
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and the background paper is from the All My Love pack.
This (retired) ribbon was just perfect for tis make and I have sooo much ribbon so I am on a bit of a mission to use it :-)
Dot on a few sequins and pearls and that's it, done!
So, that's all for me for today from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another make.
Hope you have a great day!

Gingham Paper and Dual Stitched Edged Rectangle Dies!

Hello to you today!
I have a really fun card for you today using the soon to be retiring Amazing Life stamps which are currently in a bundle with the, thankfully remaining, dual stitched rectangles. Gee, that's a mouthful, lol! Basically if you want the stamp set you could get it as a bundle now and save 10% or else you'll still be able to get the dies when the new catalogue comes out but not the stamps.
Anyway, I loved making this card as it really shows off the dual stitching of these rectangle dies and teamed with the gingham paper I think this gives this card a super, spring like feel...
I simply held two dies together, skipping the middle size, using washi tape (or a post it note) before die cutting off the edge of a card front sized (10.5cm x 14.8cm UK size) thick white card layer.
Add a card sized piece of gingham paper (it would look great in all colours, I think) flat to the card base before topping with the large part of the die cut card layer using foam pads.
Decorate the inserts using the Amazing Life stamps (I coloured these flowers using my blender pens and ink pads) and add them in, again with foam pads, to finish.
So, that's todays make, what do you think? I'm really hoping it inspires the better weather to make a return here ;-)
I have (another) a super busy week here but I will definately be back on Wednesday with another Inspire. Create. Challenge post so I do hope you'll join me then?
Thanks so much for looking today,

Amazing Life stamp set with Stitched Rectangles

Hello!
You may have seen this card already as I had a major boo boo a few weeks ago with scheduling and publishing *facepalm*
But I didn't write all about it and if you haven't seen it then hello! lol.
I have to say I love the fresh design, it feels very modern this card in Pool Party, Blushing Bride and a touch of the (sale-a-Bration) black and white paper, what do you think?
We made this card at the Amazing Life class and I really enjoyed using both the stamps and the dies and I'm sad teh stamps are retiring but super thrilled the dies are staying!
I coloured the cakes with blends and topped them with a coating of Wink Of Stella.
That sparkle never gets old does it?
A white embossed sentiment and a little poll party twine and that's this card done!
I hope you've enjoyed todays make? I hope you have a chance to get crafty today :-)

Amazing Life Cake Stamp

Hello!
Today I have a card using the Amazing Life stamps. Funny story though as this actual card isn't the one I made '-' I realised when I went to take pictures that it had been accidentally swapped at the class I ran using this set. No biggie though as all the classes were done and everyone had copied it already ;-) I'm sure when the person goes to use it they'll notice because it's funny isn't it, how we can recognise our cards even though they are all the same design :-)
Anyway, I digress, lets see this card...
I used this gorgeous quilted embossing folder (called tufted) for the background
And coloured the cake and words with my blends pens.
Layered using the rectangle stitched framelits and finished with some gold ribbon (retired) but you could try the mini gold sequins instead :-)
OK, so that's all from me for today.. I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend.
We had yesterday off and so were doing house and garden stuff but I'm working much of the rest of the weekend :-(
Hopefully I'll have chance to get more posts on here written at least ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today, back soon with more!

Needle and Thread stitched panel card

Hello and happy Saturday!
Todays card is another with the Needle and Thread bundle. I teamed the lovely stitched effect die with some of the gorgeous Needlepoint Nook DSP...
I added a layer of the paper just 1mm smaller than the card base (10.4cm x 14.7cm) then topped it with the stitched panel which was cut using the stitched rectangle framelits. Those rectangles sure are getting a great workout here!
I added a little of the super pretty Old Olive linen thread...
Finished with a sentiment from the set which was die cut to make the stitching and punched out using the Pretty Label punch.
So, that's todays card from me :-)
I have a busy day ahead but somewhere this weekend I need to finish up my table gifts for next weekend when we are off to Telford for On Stage, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and of course, the break!
So, I'll be back tomorrow with another make but I hope you get chance to craft today!
