18th Birthday Card for a Girl using Large Letter Framelits and Mixed Drinks (of course!)

Hello there,
I'm taking a little break on here from the Christmas cards- just for today - with a card I made for my dear friends daughter who turned 18 a few weeks ago. I used my large letter framelits to die cut "Kiera" from copper foil sheets and teamed it with the Mixed Drinks stamps to make this card....

 Of course I added a touch of Wink of Stella to the cocktail ;-)

 And I used the matching Number of Years framelits inside
('cause you've gotta have "18" somewhere, right?)

Love how the copper foil works so well with Flirty Flamingo.

Firstly, thanks for all the lovely comments yesterday, I'm so glad you enjoyed the llamas and as I've travelled around the blog hop myself I see you enjoyed all the cute animal cards and projects that my fellow Jems made, weren't they amazing?! So many fabulous ideas :-) If you missed seeing the hop you can go HERE.

So, today I'm a little late as it was a cricket day (they won) and a packed afternoon but I do have a lovely new CAS card for you today using the Mixed Drinks stamp set...

 I decorated underneath the sentiment (from the set) with an in colour enamel star and a thin blushing bride bakers twine bow. The little striped bar underneath is actually the smallest straw from the stamp set.

 Here's a closer look at the cocktail.

 And here's the order to stamp it in to get this look.

I enjoyed using the masking technique to make this card pop!
