Circle Thinlits Easel card with Everything Elanor

Hi there,
I just had the most wonderful weekend away with the Fam, we went to Chessington zoo and stayed overnight at the hotel there, it was fab! Then yesterday we went to the Ideal Home Christmas Show at Earls Court so I'm feeling really festive right now, might even pop the ole crimbo music on in a bit ;-)
Back to work now and on with today's card! I shared with you last week how to make this card in my 5 Cards with the Circle Thinlits Die tutorial but I wanted to share the rest of the pictures for this card as promised.
We made this card in class last week and I must quickly mention next weeks class where we will be making 10 cards in 3 hours but in addition to this I will be sharing all my convention gossip and of course my swaps! I have made over 100 plus team swaps too so I will have plenty to share, message me to come along to class :-)
So, back to this easel card. I made the base from Pool Party card with Smoky Slate (stamped off first) swirls and Primrose Petals accents all from the Everything Elanor stamp set
This sentiment is from Petit Pairs stamp set and the circle pattern around it is from Everything Elanor stamp set again, we inked this one with markers to miss out the journalling lines in the centre. The scallop circle is from the Circle Flip card Die Set with a punched circle behind to make it "pop"
And a shot of inside to finish. I added one of the yummy Vintage faceted buttons along the ribbon to hold up the easel part, this picture really doesn't do the sparkle justice though ;-)
So, if you want to see how to make this card with all the measurements you need as well as my top tips then please pop over and view my FREE tutorial HERE.
And if you then "need" this die then pop over to my shop HERE ;-)
I am also starting a new Stampers 6 club this month (more details HERE) so if you would like FREE hostess benefits without the hassle of a party then please do GET IN TOUCH.
Thanks for looking!

1st ever Scrapbook Club!

Hello there,
I have finally got the photos for my first ever scrapbook club to share with you tonight, we had a really lovely time and if you would like to join us next month then please message me for details,
So this month we used the gorgeous Attic Boutique DSP making a double page layout.
Please be gentle, its my first ever!!
a bit closer, you should be able to click on the pics to make them larger (if you like)
Right page
So, a few of the details, I made these cute pennants (they are everywhere at the mo) and I added some faux stitching with my mat pack and a white gel pen, cool huh?
some yummy antique brads, they reminded me of the buttons on the guards coats ;-)
I die cut "Windsor" and stamped "Castle" for my title
Journaling block is from Everything Elanor as well as the swirls on the background (seen above)
and this was Tessa's layout, not the best colour but it was getting dark when we finished, lovely job Tessa!
So, if you are interested in joining us then my next class is on the 13th August and they run 7pm-9pm every 4 weeks on a Monday evening, Please book soon as places are strictly limited and I will unfortunately only be able to run one class each 4 weeks.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and for your honest opinion too ;-)

Stampin' Up's Everything Elanor card

Hello there!
I'm back! He he, I have been very busy this week but I have loads to share with you so today I would like to start with a card using Everything Elanor, I think this set is fab :-) So elegant, in fact I often call it Elegant Elanor by mistake! Doh!
Anyway, here is the card I made using the swirl from the set
pleated organza ribbon across the bottom
and some cute felt flowers at the bottom of the swirl
Right, short and sweet today but I promise to be back tomorrow with some more cardyness for you all ;-)
Just a note I will placing a SU! order in the next few days if you would like to add anything to it with FREE postage if you collect from me or a special rate if you can't, then email me on sarah-janerae@sky.com today :-)

Happy Birthday to my Mum!

A little later than planned today as I had the first of this fortnight's classes this morning, a lovely way to spend my Saturday :-)
How would you like to make cards with lovely ladies (and gents) for a living? Then why not join my team of Southern Belles? Message me for more info on becoming a SU! demo with me.
Right, last week was my Mum's birthday and this is the card I made her, I used the Faux Mother of Pearl technique again as I liked the effect so much when I made the class samples a couple of weeks ago.
The lovley flourish is from Everything Elanor and the sentiment is Curly Cute
Another ribbon rose in Pool Party with Wild Wasabi leaves,
I used Pink Pirouette with Pool Party and Sahara Sand colour combo, a lovely subtle and pretty mix with a couple of Vellum card flowers on the Borderlines vines
and more vellum inside too
Well, I hope you liked today's card, Mum did, thankfully ;-)
I will be back tomorrow with details of my next class (31st March, 2nd and 3rd April) this class runs from 9.30-12.30 and we will be making 10 cards for just £14.
Thanks for visiting today

3 of the same!

Happy Saturday to you!
It's my weekend off work and I am really looking forward to spending some time with the family this weekend, might even be able to squeeze a bit of crafting in at some point too!
Last week though there were 3 Jems (team) birthdays and being a bit short of time I decided to make 3 of the same cards :-)
I really wanted to use the stamp set Everything Elanor, love this set ;-)
The colour combo of Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant with Lucky Limeade came from the colour coach, I will definately be using this one again!
So, I stamped the large swirl onto the Wisteria Wonder card before embossing it with the Vintage Wallpaper folder in the big shot,
I also spritzed this layer with shimmer paint mixed with alcohol to make a spray...sparkly!
This cute frame has lines (for journalling) in it so I just inked the outer edge using my markers to omit these, then I punced it out using the new 2+3/8" scallop circle punch before adding the sentiment from Petit Pairs and a knot of ruffled ribbons
Inside I stamped 2 flowers and then on scrap stamped the third, before adding it with dimensionals
and here are all three together
I hope you enjoyed todays cards and also that the 3 ladies who received them had a wonderful day too!
We are off to town in a bit to get Zoe some new school shoes, wishing you a fab Saturday whatever you are up to ;-)

Bottle Top Magnets

Hello,
What a fab class it was yesterday, lovely ladies and a good catch up after Christmas :-)
Today I have another left from December project for you, but it isn't just for Christmas this one!!
You might remember I made bottle top magnets as a swap for convention? Well, I decided to make lots more and give them out as Christmas gifts for my ladies at class :-)
So, I made several versions, these would be fab to use up any scraps you have!
First up is Timeless Portrait using the lovely tealy colour of  Island Indigo and Everything Elanor stamp set to decorate the card,
Then the very pretty Paisley Petals on a Baja Breeze card layer with Simply Soft background,
Then the Flirtatious speciality DSP with Pretty in Pink and the Every Little Bit crown to decorate,
and finally Big Top Birthday papers with Real Red and the star, again from Every Little Bit,
The cards were all hand stamped with the very lovely Creatively Yours 'made just for you' stamp, I also added a small punched shape to one of the magnets and perhaps a pearl or rhinestone to decorate
then covered them all liberally with Crystal Effects to protect them,
and just a small magnet on the back to make them useful as well as pretty ;-)
all together for you to finish,
Right, that's it from me, I will be back tomorrow with a birthday card for a change :-)

3 Birthday Jems!

Hello!
Well, as you have seen another bust week here and to top it off it was a busy birthday week too!
I had three Jem's team members to make special cards for and so I went with all the same, which is unlike me tbh, but due to time constraints this was necessary on this occasion ;-)
Anyway, I made the same style as I made for Harry's birthday last week.
{as promised, I did a little tutorial whilst I was making these so will share this with you tomorrow}

I used an elegant colour combo of Cameo Coral, Crumb Cake and Basic Black,
with my scrummy new stamp set Everything Elanor, LOVE this set, which tbh I was surprised at as it hadn't grabbed me in the catalogue but once I had played with it... well I was in love! Plus it is exclusive to the European market, so our friends in the rest of the world have to look on in envy (sorry guys!)
Anyway, I stamped the insert too, to finish
That's me for today, quick post today! but as I mentioned, I will be back tomorrow with the tutorial for this style of card,
Thanks, as ever, for stopping by today,
Stampin' Hugs for today,
