Hershey Nuggets Christmas Ornaments Mini Tutorial

So, I decided to make some little Christmas ornament swaps with some Hershey nuggets, these would be perfect for hanging on the tree, and you could of course change out the chocolate if you prefered!
So, I thought I would make a little tutorial for you, step-by-step, to share how I made them, I am sure there are many other ways to make them but I found this the quickest method for making multiples, I will be making more for my tree for sure (perhaps with different chocolates tho ;-))
###
This is what you need...
Hershey nugget, Large oval punched card piece, 1.5cm-2 cm of 3mm taffeta ribbon, red line tape and 2 x 3/4 height punched ornaments,
So, first of all punch a large oval from matching card, adhere it to the base and to the sides of the chocolate,
Next punch your ornaments and stick tape to the tops as shown, I also inked the edges on the opposite side that shows out,
adhere the ribbon to the tape of both ornaments
then glue to the sides of the chocolate
hold for a few minutes,
Job done!
Well, that's me for today, I will be home late tonight and so back tomorrow with roomie gifts and hopefully news from Paris too!
Thanks for dropping by!

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

Hello,
I know I said I would be sharing this months class projects with you today but I decided first to show you the projects we will be making at the Stamp-a-Stack class I am holding later this month,
Monday 19th FULL, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st September.
I only have a few spaces left for this class now so EMAIL me asap to reserve your place.
We will be making 10 post friendly cards in this class, this simply means they will not need a large letter stamp, they are so pricey now aren't they?! And I decided to use the soon to be retiring Jolly Holiday DSP for these projects so have gone with a co-ordinating and traditional colour scheme of Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake, retiring products can be found HERE.
We will be making 2 each of 5 designs:
With envelopes and all materials included for just £12!
Class runs from 9.30-12.30 for this one as I don't want you to be too rushed. To reserve your place then please email me sarah-janerae@sky.com or call 023 8084 3597
I look forward to seeing you at this class ;-)

Convention Time!!!

Hello,
I have been a busy girl these last few weeks with the house and of course getting ready for this convention weekend! I will be scheduling some posts the next few days with some cards I have made for swaps, now, I get a bit bored making lots of the same thing so I made 20 or so of a few designs.
I will start today with a card made using the Delightful Decorations set with the matching ornament punch which just so happens to have a brilliant offer on it for November and December, see top post!

The centre ornament is from the Jolly Holly Designer Paper Pack and the greeting is from my favourite new sentiment set Curly Cute, love it! Background was made using the Sparkle and Shine wheel with Versamrk ink.

as you can see I have made the sentiment "wave" by adding some dimensionals under the middle and end, I hope you like and do pop back over the weekend for more swaps from me. Next week I will be sharing the swaps and stories I receive with you too :-)
Thanks for stopping by
