Large Letter Alphabet for Dad's!

Hello!
I remembered I hadn't shared the Father's Day cards, that I made for both our dad's, with you! Sorry ;-) So, I know it's (long) past Dad's day but I figure it would be very easy to change the sentiment to suit a birthday or whatever occasion to suit you?
I went with a Black and Grey teamed with Emerald Envy for a pop of colour, take a look....

 So, confession time. Emerald Envy was not my favourite colour and you may have noticed I don't use it too often, but like this? I love it!

 So much so that I actually ordered a new pack as I used the last of what I had for these cards.

 I added some little off cuts of paper to the inside to decorate.

 I'm trying to step out of my (colour) comfort zone, what do you think??

Guy Greetings in Hello Honey by Stampin' Up!

Hi there,

Well, after yesterdays 'mare of a day our toilet is fixed and the weekend is finally getting back on track! Just in time to go back to work ;-)

I do have a card today for one of the guys in your life and it uses the lovely new set Guy Greetings from the Spring/Summer catalogue teamed with the Typeset DSP to make this card..

 Stapling is one of my favourite ways to add some (yummy Hello Honey quilted) ribbon to a guys card!

These spanners were stamped in Smoky Slate and the sentiment is in Hello Honey. We added the DSP to the Hello Honey card layer with tombow (glue) before die cutting the window as this paper is designed to be a much lighter weight than usual SU! DSP

 We stamped the car onto a separate piece of Vanilla card and added it behind the Labels Framelits window using dimensionals

 And this side view shows you the depth a little better :-)
