CAS Birthday Card for Dad

Hello!
My Dad's birthday was way back in December this is the card  I made for him. I would normally have shared this with you a couple of days after his birthday but the thing was I posted this to him in Spain and it took 3 MONTHS to get there!!!! Yep, and of course it was the one time I put money in for a treat too! I was kicking myself for doing it for ages as I thought it was lost but, it did get there in the end :-) Take a look.....
I die cut the Large Letter Framelits from Gold Glimmer paper and added them to a brick wall embossed background.
This great sentiment is from My Hero stamp set which is incidentally the Ronald McDonald charity stamp set for this year. Great stamps and charity donation too :-)
OK, so don't forget it's the last couple of weeks before Sale-a-Bration, so if you need anything from either catalogue now is the perfect time to order as you get a free gift with every £45 spent.

Cookie Cutter Halloween meets My Hero for a Get Well Wish using Stampin' Up! Products.

Hi there,
I have a fun twist on the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamps today. I have teamed them with the My Hero stamps (the fabulous Ronald McDonald charity set for this year) and Umbrella Weather framelits to make a Get Well Soon Card, take a look...
Doesn't this little mummy look adorable as a patient? I lightly coloured the bandages with a touch of Smoky Slate and added some Blushing Bride around the eyes.
So, when I went to stamp the umbrella and found the tip of the brolly was a separate stamp to the handle so here are my TIPS for stamping and die cutting the umbrella...
I stamped the clouds and rain (from Weather Together) around the umbrella and patient and then die cut the clouds before adding the whole front panel with dimensionals. I then added the clouds flat through the gaps and topped a few of the rain drops with fine tip glue to make them shine.
TIP: Leave this card flat while the glue dries.
So, that's my card for making the most out of your Cookie Cutter Halloween stamps :-)
I hope you have enjoyed today's card. I'll be back tomorrow with another,
