Using Jar of Love by Stampin' Up! for a Floral Jar Card

Hi there,
Today's card uses the Jar of Love stamps and dies as they were designed for, in a jar!
I have a very full jar making a pretty, summery looking card, take a look...
I added the solid banner from the hostess set 'Time of Year' which I heat embossed in silver and I teamed it with the Happy sentiment is from 'Banners for You'
A few dimensionals and stamping on thick white card gives this card a little pop!
And one final photo for today :-)
I hope you liked todays card and thanks so much for stopping by,

Sale-a-Bration News and a Spring Wreath Card using Jar of Love

Hello!
I hope this post finds you well? I have been a busy bee making lots of lovely things in my craft room this weekend and I'm looking forward to sharing one of those makes here with you today :-)
But first of all I wanted to remind you briefly that Sale-a-Bration is fast coming to an end! Eek! Please also note that all Sale-a-Bration items are now on a "while stocks last" basis. So, if there's something you need then please do get in touch before 31st March! I am placing an order at the end of this week and again on the 30th March so do drop me a line to add to it or feel free to use my online hostess code for all orders over £25 and under £150:
  P9WAXTSH
Now, SU! have also just added 8 new products to the offering, yay! These are all current products in either the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue or the Annual catalogue. Please note you need to use the codes below to get them for free ;-) ...
And some pictures, these links are the sale-a-bration links not the purchase links ;-)
All these products are also available to purchase, of course.
So, do you wanna see a card? I made this for my lovely downline Angela, who signed up during Sale-a-Bration 5 years ago! Obviously I wanted to make her a special card so I pulled out the very lovely Jar of Love to make a pretty, spring wreath...
I stamped and die cut the "5" on thick white card adding a second just die cut, vellum number for added interest.
All the die cut flowers and stems were stamped onto thick white card which makes them less flexible and therefore gives plenty of dimension. I only used to add a few dimensionals under some images.
So, if you are loving SU! products and would like a discount on your supplies or maybe you want to build a crafty business or if you just fancy getting a pretty card in 5 years, like Angela (LOL!!) then please do consider joining before the end of March! It's just about the best time to join SU! as you get to choose two free stamp sets extra in your kit! The Link to join is HERE :-)
OK, one last picture for today.
Thanks so much for looking today and I hope you liked the card!

CAS Birthday Card for Dad

Hello!
My Dad's birthday was way back in December this is the card  I made for him. I would normally have shared this with you a couple of days after his birthday but the thing was I posted this to him in Spain and it took 3 MONTHS to get there!!!! Yep, and of course it was the one time I put money in for a treat too! I was kicking myself for doing it for ages as I thought it was lost but, it did get there in the end :-) Take a look.....
I die cut the Large Letter Framelits from Gold Glimmer paper and added them to a brick wall embossed background.
This great sentiment is from My Hero stamp set which is incidentally the Ronald McDonald charity stamp set for this year. Great stamps and charity donation too :-)
OK, so don't forget it's the last couple of weeks before Sale-a-Bration, so if you need anything from either catalogue now is the perfect time to order as you get a free gift with every £45 spent.

Using Stampin' Up's Butterfly Basics To Decorate A Notebook

Hello there,
I have a super cute pair of notebooks to share with you today using the ever versatile Butterfly Basics stamps and dies. I purchased the notebooks in this Kraft colour and we decorated them at Jenny's pre-wedding party.
I made two designs before hand and let the ladies choose how to decorate their own...
This black and Kraft version was the most popular. I used versamark to stamp the leaves for a subtle look and plenty of Wink of Stella on the butterfly too.
I also made this softer style with doilies and ribbon roses (retired).
 Which is your favourite?
Back tomorrow with a Halloween Treat on the Jems blog hop.
Hope you can stop by for lots of inspiration, the theme is Autumn/Winter catalogue!
