Using You're Sublime from Stampin' Up!

Good morning!
I have a new card today using the cute little submarine from You're Sublime. This is a really lovely set for watercolouring, I stamped the image onto watercolour paper and coloured with aqua painters and ink pads to make this card...
The background of the card was stamped using versamark and the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.
I love this (now retired) blue glitter ribbon.
I added the image on the front with dimensionals and highlighted it with the wonderful Wink of Stella pen, sadly my photographic skills haven't shown the sparkle here I'm afraid :-(
How cute are those little fishes?
Right, I'm off to get ready for tomorrows class :-)
I do have one spare kit that can be used for either Saturday or Monday, let me know if you'd like to come along and join the fun. More details HERE :-)

Perpetual Birthday Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! for a dear friends Birthday Card.

Good evening!
Today has been a fun day, I had my first class since the summer holidays and after a much needed break it was really great to see some of the ladies back to class today - with more booked in over the coming weeks :-)
And remember, you can join us too! For fun, friendly cardmaking classes near Southampton. See HERE for dates or drop me a line HERE :-)
So, todays card is a card I made for my dear friend Laura's birthday recently using the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set in Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand teamed with some cute, punched flowers. Have a peek...
I used the Petit Petals flower punch with English Garden DSP. Add some little silver glimmer mini punched flowers and a few sequins to create these little clusters.
All links will be at the end of this post tomorrow ;-) Links are now at the end of the post! :-)
This sentiment is from the stamp set Sprinkles On Top.
Sad to say this was it's first inking - but it's definitely not it's the last. More coming soon.... ;-)
 a side view...
Of course I also added a few butterflies and flowers inside too :-)
And a top view to finish today
Well, I started this post much earlier tonight, (before work) but sadly just didn't get a chance to finish it! Sorry for the delay. I'll pop all the links on tomorrow as I am off to bed now :-) Hopefully you have enjoyed this (most of a) post this evening though?
I'll be back tomorrow with a card and a video tutorial for you as well  as the links, but 'till then,

Five Days of Stampin' Up! Note Cards; Day Three. Using Treat Bag Thinlits.

Happy Sunday!
I had a day off from the blog yesterday as it was our 19 year wedding anniversary! We didn't do anything as such, just spent the day being together ;-)
Anyway, today I have the third card in this Note Card series to share with you. And HERE is the link to the box I made to fit these note cards into, in case you missed it.
The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (you can also see my Three Ways with Treat Bag Thinlits VIDEO) make a bag that fit these note cards in perfectly so I decided to use some of the Birthday Bash DSP and make a matching card to pop in it and use as an envelope - and it's a fab way to use up those retired paper packs you have! See....
After stamping the note card using the Perpetual Birthday Stamp set we added the die cut word (included in the treat bag thinlits set) and a few punched Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper stars

A little close up of the treat bag with the note card inside

I like making note cards to match DSP ;-)
And a top view to finish today.
All the cards in this series are nice and flat for posting or popping in with other bits without adding bulk.
To see the full five days PLEASE CLICK HERE (all 5 posts will show up here after the 5th May)
Thanks, as ever, for looking today, I hope you are enjoying this mini series?
