Betsy's Blooms class card

Hey there,
I'm back today with a card from my Stamp-a-Stack last week...
Next weeks class (Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd) are MY LAST CLASSES until the 31st August, message me to join in this summer!!
...this card was inspired by a card I saw in the new catalogue HERE and uses the Betsy's Blooms wheel (which I have un-mounted, see this tutorial)
I stamped the blossom strip (l-r) first in Basic Grey, then Wisteria Wonder and finally in Smoky Slate...
the wisteria ribbon was the very last bit I had and unfortunately is now retired and I added a small strip of grey stitched grosgrain in at the end of tying the knot
and the sentiment is from Really Good Greetings, speaking of greetings there is a fab promo on selected greetings stamps this month too!
Well, I hope you like today's card? I'm off to fetch Zack before going work later, it's going to be scorchio in the ole' kitchen tonight!
Thanks for stopping by today,

Apothecary Art with Gingham Garden DSP by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
Well, my weekend didn't exactly go as I planned Saturday morning. When I left you I was planning a nice trip to the beach with the fam. but unfortunately my Mum fell over a log in the forest and ended up with a rather large chunk of it stuck in her shin! Many hours at A&E later she was back at our house with strict instructions to keep the leg elevated. She is fine now though thankfully.
Sooo, today I have a card and gift combo to share with you. Last weekend was a lot less stressful as we visited Julie for her 40th birthday celebration in Yorkshire. We had a lovely weekend away, the first as just a couple for 17 years!
This is the card I made for the birthday girl...
I am loving this DSP from the new catty, it's called Gingham Garden and it's just lovely! I have used nearly a whole pack already!
I added layers of flowers using the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack to the Apothecary Art image,
 Midnight Muse stitched ribbon bow
and a touch of decoration inside to finish the card
I also managed to pick up this very deep frame which I personalised with the same paper  and (quite a few) 3d flowers
these flowers were made using the Secret Garden Dies following THIS TUTORIAL. The only difference was I used the largest die also as the depth of the frame would allow for the larger flower size
to make the sparkly letters I coated die cut letters in Crystal Effects then while it was still wet I added just a light sprinkle of Dazzling Diamonds, only removing the excess from around the name once it was completely dry.
these scrunched flowers were made in the same way just using the Boho Blossoms punch, notice the little clay flower there too?
and a Stitched Grosgrain ribbon flower. Guess what? I have a TUTORIAL for that too ;-)
and here they are both together to finish.
Right, bit of a long post in the end today but hopefully you have managed to stick with it!
Thanks as always for stopping by, I now have a date with an ironing board :-(

Happy Day Kraft Boxes

Hello,
Unfortunately this is going to have to be another super quick post from me today as I have to take Josh for an interview soon but I just wanted to nip on and share another project with you all today.
I have still got a stack of photos to edit and tidy up so I will get onto that later today hopefully but first I have another of the new shape boxes from the catty to share with you. This time I used the tags kit that is designed to go with the boxes and the Happy Day stamp set using new in colour Strawberry Crush and teamed here with Island Indigo
this medallion is from the Happy Day set and it punches out (just losing the very edges) with a 1+3/4" circle punch
More yummy Washi Tape with a strip of grey sticker that is also from the tag kit which can be seen HERE
and Strawberry Crush also looks great teamed it with Daffodil Delight for this version of a tag
adding white gel pen spots to the scallops to decorate
Right, must dash,
Thanks as ever for stopping by today :-))))

Blue Ribbon birthday girl

Hello there!
I'm back from my weekend away with hubby to visit Jules and celebrate with her for her 40th birthday!
We had a fantastic weekend and the weather was simply amazing, we visited all around the area and had a generally lovely time.
So, this is the second card I made for Ross and Evan (Julies sons) to give to Jules.
I used a pretty combo of Pink Pirouette and Pool Party with the Blue Ribbon rosette..
Plenty of layering going on for this card ;-)
this white organza ribbon makes lovely bows and I added a giant rhinestone in the centre too
and inside I stamped the images off onto scrap paper giving a much paler image
OK, I have much to complete today (as usual!) so will be off.
I will definitely be back tomorrow with one of the (very many) cards I have to share with you!

Stampers Club Card Kit using Boutique Boxes

Hello there,
**STICKY POST**
**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW IDEAS**
This post contains New Stamp club info,
message me today to join in!
Today's card is the kit I have sent out with my Stampers 6 club orders. I am currently looking for more people to join my new club. You spend £25 a month (on any product, in any current catty) for 6 months and for one of those months YOU will get the hostess benefits, without the hassle of having a party (unless you want to of course!) plus each month I will include a kit for a card for you to make at home with your order. You can also get your own hard copy of the new Catalogue coming out on the 2nd July, for FREE!
**Contact me today to join the club sarah-janerae@sky.com or go HERE for more info**
So, would you like to see the kind of kit you will receive? Great! This is this months kit.
This kit is made from the Boutique Boxes printed kit from the spring/summer catalogue, I included everything you see here, with some minor colour differences ;-)
and this is the suggested card I made using the kit
 with the tag out
cute die cut elements and buttons
this lovely hessian style ribbon wasn't in the catalogue kit but as it went so well with it I have included it for my club ladies
I adhered the "feather" with a dab of glue and added a knot of twine with a staple to decorate,
Well, I hope you like the kit and if you are interested in building your SU! stash gradually with the perks of being a hostess then please do get in touch!
Right, I'm off to cut for this weeks class. It's all about heat embossing this week and I'm very excited to be sharing those with you soon :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Memorable Moments with Everything Eleanor for a 40th card

Hello there today!
I am going to make this a super quick post with plenty of pics and not so much chatter as we have sooo much to do this am!!
I was recently asked by my friends husband to make a card for her 40th birthday and of course I said yes!
I made this card using Memorable moments and For my family (retired) in new colours of Crisp Cantaloupe and Soft Sky *adore* with Sahara Sand as a base ;-)
the Memorable Moments sentiment set matches the framelits,
some 3d flowers in the new cantaloupe, it's a beautiful pale coral colour, I can see this will be a firm favourite!
 new "very vintage" buttons
and a (blurry, sorry) inside picture
Right, I hope you liked today's card, I have run out of time to schedule any more posts so I will be back on Monday with an update on my weekend and some more cardy stuff of course!!
Thanks for stopping by!

 with the stamp set..
and as you can see lots of depth to this one! But the peg would have it sent as a large letter anyway so I figured I might as well go with it ;-)

Kraft Boxes and Banner Greetings

Hello there on this very lovely Sunday.
The sun is shining in the south of England right now and doesn't it just put a great big whoping smile on everyone's face?? :-))))))
So, I have a nice quick post for you today using more new products from the up-coming catalogue which is launched in just 2 more sleeps!!!
These fab new rectangular gift boxes are a great size and I just know they will be so useful for lots of things. I would say they would be the right size to fit in three (generous sized) cupcakes, maybe three golf balls, smellies ;-) socks, baby grows, well, the list is endless...
I have decorated this one with the new hostess set Banner Greetings and some of the new washi tape too...
I added a couple of bakers twine bows at the ends of the banner
and a touch of washi tape. Lots more with this coming soon ;-)

OK, I'm off for today.
Have a lovely Sunday evening and thanks for stopping by!
