Using SU! Perfect Mix Stamp Set with a FREE Ribbon Layering Photo Tutorial

Hello!
I have another card today using the Perfect Mix stamp set. This time I used the images in the set to create a background which I watercoloured in pastel colours using my SU! ink pads for what I think is a very 50's vintage feel, take a look....
Again I stamped with Memento ink on shimmer white card to watercolour.
I was inspired by some spatulas I have here at home in these colours ;-)
I have seen this ribbon effect a lot in SU! catalogues so I wanted to give it a go but I found it to be a little fiddly so I decided to make a little tutorial for you sharing an easy way of creating this effect, please scroll down!
This is how I added the ribbon effect behind the sentiment on this card!
and one final photo for today :-)
So, I hope you enjoyed todays card and little tutorial? Let me know if you have a go!

Watercoloured Weather Togeher by Stampin' Up! and Zig Clean Colour Markers.

Hello!
I have a watercoloured card for you today using the Weather Together stamps, which of course can be purchased with matching dies (saving 10% when purchased together) but I didn't use the dies today :-)
I also recently treated myself to some Zig Clean Colour pens and so I stamped and watercoloured this image with them. They offer a really vibrant colouring result in real life and I do hope you can tell that from the photo?
I made a simple, pastel rainbow watercoloured background with the SU! subtles inks to go behind this bold image.
And heat embossed the sentiment from the set in gold over the handle.
I had a little of the watercoloured paper left over so I finished off the inside with a few thin strips.
And one final photo for today. So, my conclusion for the pens? I like the Zig pens and the end result provide a very intense colour, don't you think? As a very ameteur watercolourist I did find them a little trickier to work with than SU! ink pads but I think that's because they are so vibrant. So I will practice and practice some more with them and I'll share some more makes with you here soon, I'm sure ;-)

NEW Jar Of Love Spring Wreath with Video Tutorial!

Hello!
I have a second version of my Spring Wreath using Jar of Love today as I had a request to make a video tutorial for it :-)
I used slightly different colours adding Sweet Sugarplum card and ribbon rather than the Peekaboo Peach I did in THIS ONE.
So, let's take a look at the card shall we?
Loving the different colours in this version.
Lots of dimension, as before ;-)
So,  this is quite a time consuming but (I think) theraputic card to make so this video was edited from over 40 minutes to under 20 and I have also sped up as much as I can to keep it interesting, I hope.
OK, here it is....
And one final photo for today. If you wanted you could add a sentiment or a few pearls or sequins?
I have actually sent this card now but I left it just like this. I do hope the recipient liked it :-)

Using Perfect Mix and Love Sparkles for a Retro Pastel Card

Hello there,
I have been looking at this stamp set - Perfect Mix - for a little while as it does appeal to my love of all things vintage and of course, punny! So I finally succumbed and purchased it and made this card with the cute mixer from the set....
I watercoloured the mixer with Blushing Bride and Wisteria which followed through to the rest of the card.
Those sweet little stars in the background are from Love Sparkles...
...and I finished todays card with some matching sequins from my stash and a lovely enamel heart in Blushing Bride too.
So, I do hope you have enjoyed today's card?
