Hello there,
Today I have a card you may have seen a sneak peek of, either on Instagram or Facebook before I made it into a card? If you like social media you can follow me on a few platforms (more links at the end of the post) for lots of sneak peeks and to see what I'm doing most days :-)
So, I was having a play with the Party Pandas when I realised they would make a great party together by masking three (or try even more) of these little guys together...
I started by stamping the centre panda (on this card) first before stamping him again on a post-it-note. Then I trimmed him out and laid the post-it- note image over the first image before stamping again, either side.
After you remove the post-it-note you could add it to one of the side pandas to make the conga line longer or pop it in the stamp case for when you want to do this again ;-)
TIP 1: Remember when masking to stamp the image you want at the front of your scene and work backwards.
TIP 2: If any of the areas don't stamp perfectly (as I've found often happens when masking) then just colour in the missing areas using a blender pen, dipped in the ink pad you used to stamp.
TIP 3: I like to leave the tiny white line between the pandas as they are all the same colour (see arms and legs) to show the distinction between the separate pandas. Although that's not actually how they would look IRL, I think it works well for these same colour images.
I coloured these pandas very simply with my blends before layering over small silver sequin trim on some Picture Perfect DSP.
I do hope you have enjoyed today's card? I have another busy day ahead with both house stuff and crafty stuff too :-) I hope you enjoy your Wednesday!
Thanks so much for looking today, I'll be back soon with more.
