Less is More with Monsters

Hello there,
I was really in the mood to make yesterday and so I purposely made one thing I could share with you today, so no new products on this one ;-) I actually made/finished about five cards yesterday, get me!
Anyway, I was inspired to use this weeks sketch from my lovely Mandi's challenge blog Less is More, I have not been too great at making C&S cards, I have however always LOVED the look of them! I am really enjoying making these more and more especially since this challenge blog started up (link in side bar) so thanks ladies for the inspiration x
But enough waffle, let me show you this one now and you can see if you think it is O.K.?
Pacific Point card base with Celebrations DSP
Background was stamped with the little spots from Make a Monster, sentiment I have only just realised is retired! doh!
and a last little pic of inside.
I hope you like today's card and please come back tomorrow to see the NEW Mini Catalogue!! I am soo excited to share this with you, I think it is SU's best ever and I am totally sure you will be thrilled when you see it and on that note if you would like a hard copy of the mini then drop me an email.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day whatever you are up to,

Another New Southern Belle!

Good morning to you all!
As I mentioned the other day I have a second new team member to say hello to this week, Welcome to Anna! So I had to (obviously) make her a welcome gift too :-D
I wanted to use the lovely Celebrations DSP with Hello Again and Broadsheet Alpha stamp sets,

I added Crystal Effects to some of the spots.
I also made a Milk Carton in Pear Pizzazz ;-)
So, do you want to know what is /was in the two milk cartons I have given to my new team members this week then??? Get a butchers at this little lot... it should help them on their way with being a SU! demonstrator both Hobby and Business contact me for more details on joining my team,

and here it is all together, I also added this card here which I made for the Sketch Wednesday challenge last week and also some colour charts too,

All that's left to say is Welcome Anna to the Southern Belles! :-D
Back tomorrow with the last card we will be making at this months class later today

Harry S's Birthday and an update

Hello this morning,
How's ya doin'? I have a class tomorrow morning so better get this posted now so I can tidy around first thing ;-)
Today's card is the other Harry's card I mentioned the other day, this one uses the excellent papers Celebrations, they are sooo great for boys cards and as so many of us struggle with those then that can only be a good thing, these truly make it easy.
So, back to this card then,
I made a banner with Harry's name on it, Shelli showed us this idea at convention using the Modern Label Punch and I used the Just Perfect Alpha wrapped it around Silver Cord and sprayed it with Shimmer Paint spray,

Here I cut out the arrows and layered them on black card and cut them out again to point to number 6 (I like to add their age as I didn't once for Zack and that's all he kept saying all his birthday, won't make that mistake again!!)
finally a bad picture of the inside ;-)

And before I sign off I would just like to mention that the Satin Ribbons AND In Colour Ribbons are all here and cut up ready to go, email me if you would like to purchase some, most details at the top of my blog.
Thanks for looking today and I promise now I have finished most of the painting at home to try to be a better blog visitor to you all xx,
Hugs,
