Charlies Birthday

Hello!
I am sooo glad it is the weekend, I am going to spend it creating, probably just a mess, but creating non the less :-)
So, a card... Yes I had to make another card for a 7 year old, there are sooo many boys 7th birthdays in the next few weeks so you will be seeing lots for this age group for a while ;-)
Charlies birthday was yesterday and this is the card I made for him...
I used the great "Frightful Sight" DSP (page 98 in the new catty if you want to have a look)
These fab papers, as you can see, are not just for Halloween!
They are available in my PAPER SHARE, just ONE share left, if you would like this last share please email me to reserve your spot!
I stamped the little monster from Make a Monster onto Watercolour Paper and coloured him with an aqua painter, then sat him on a punched border made using the new Dotted Scallop Border punch
Sentiment is the FAB new hostess set "Happiest Birthday Wishes" and it could be yours for FREE too, why not join my NEW stampers 6 club and get hold of your own??
and I popped another little monster inside too :-)
And an arty angle to finish today
O.K. I'm off for today, I hope you like today's card and I will be back tomorrow (hopefully) with a little video, but at the very least a card ;-)

Less is More with Monsters

Hello there,
I was really in the mood to make yesterday and so I purposely made one thing I could share with you today, so no new products on this one ;-) I actually made/finished about five cards yesterday, get me!
Anyway, I was inspired to use this weeks sketch from my lovely Mandi's challenge blog Less is More, I have not been too great at making C&S cards, I have however always LOVED the look of them! I am really enjoying making these more and more especially since this challenge blog started up (link in side bar) so thanks ladies for the inspiration x
But enough waffle, let me show you this one now and you can see if you think it is O.K.?
Pacific Point card base with Celebrations DSP
Background was stamped with the little spots from Make a Monster, sentiment I have only just realised is retired! doh!
and a last little pic of inside.
I hope you like today's card and please come back tomorrow to see the NEW Mini Catalogue!! I am soo excited to share this with you, I think it is SU's best ever and I am totally sure you will be thrilled when you see it and on that note if you would like a hard copy of the mini then drop me an email.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day whatever you are up to,

Monster of a Card

Hello,
In a week or so my friend and upline Julie is having a team training day, I cannot make it this time unfortunately but I am participating in the Card Candy swap so that's what I have been doing the last few days. I am pleased with the end result but I will have to wait to blog them until when the are going to be swapped so as not to spoil the surprise for the other members of the team ;-)
So, back to this card, I just fancied playing with this monster set the other day as I have had it for ages and not really gotten round to playing with it, I used the colour coach for the combo again, it is Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzaz and Tempting Turquoise,

The little banner is made using the star punch and the balloons are from Party this Way, it really is such a great set and the little star in the background is from Every Little Bit,

and an arty angle,

so a quick and easy little card for a boy today, I am going to clean my car this morning, boo, but then I hope to get inky later,
Have a great day whatever you are up to and thanks for stopping by to visit today xx

Happy Birthday Jack

Hello,
Zack has another party on Sunday and so I made this card for his friend Jack, I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch n0 167 using the Make a Monster set, I have had this stamp set now for a few weeks and just haven't had a chance to play with it.. also I foolishly thought it would take ages to design and colour... how wrong I was!! it was actually super quick! {P.S. I will deny I ever said I was wrong if you tell anyone else, I am never wrong, ask my hubby ;-D lol!}

the colours I used for this were chosen totally from this little number 6 which is from the Play Date DSP (in this share) Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron and a touch of Choc Chip. I made the today from Basic Phrases by inking the to and day using Marker Pens then punched it out with the Word Window,
Here is a close up of the first monster, they were both coloured with blender pens,
and the second,
and a piccie of the inside,

Josh has a party on Saturday too so I will share the card for that with you as soon as I get it photographed as it was dark by the time I finished tonight, another busy weekend, lets hope the snow stays off a bit so they can both go ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today
