Blooming Basket Sale-a-Bration card

Happy Easter to you!
No April fools joke, I'm afraid Sale-a-Bration really is over for another year :-( I hope you managed to get the stamp sets and products you had your eye on? I have a couple of cards left to share with you using the SaB products so I hope if you have these sets that you might want to see my last few makes using them?
Today I want to share a card using the Blooming Basket Bundle and although the stamps are gone forever the basket weave embossing folder will be back in the new catalogue (coming in June)
So, let's look at today's card, shall we?
I watercoloured this basket of flowers...
A narrow black card layer makes the basket image pop!
And that basket weave E.F. is just lovely, I'm so sad this set is gone as I've only had a chance to play with it a couple of times :-( Did you get this set?
OK, that's all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a lovely Easter Sunday, we are chilling at home today (and hoping to squeeze in a little craft time this afternoon) before taking the children to Thorpe Park tomorrow. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain (as predicted) too much ;-)

Bird Banter Birthday

Hi!
It's the weekend, unfortunately it's my weekend to work but I am planning to enjoy the day times! I managed a couple of hours tidying in my craft room today (how does it get sooo messy all the time?) and I also finished making a couple of cards from the 'box of shame' too, so all round a good day!
So, today I have the card I made for the hubsters birthday recently, I used the Bird Banter stamps for this one and even though it's not very masculine he didn't complain ;-) That's the sign of a husband married to a crafter! #goodhusband
I used Blends (sadly now not orderable until May) to colour these cute budgies, you could of course use an aqua painter and ink pads instead.
Then I added the die cut Happy Birthday over some of the FREE Sale-a-Bration papers "Bubbles and Fizz" which are only available 'till the end of the month!
I used the stitched edge framelis and layered them with a scalloped layering oval to cut out this image.
If you have a super long wish list remember now is also a fab-u-lous time to join SU! as a demo to.
If you wish you can message me to chat through your options :-)
Well, that's today card for you, what did you think?
I really hope you get a chance to be crafty today :-)

Cake Soiree with Watercoloured Stripes.

Hello there,
I have a watercoloured stripes card for you today in Wild Wasabi using the very pretty Cake Soiree stamps and dies. I decided to adhere the die cut area flat and pop up the larger piece. I do like this layout on a card and I haven't done it for a while so it felt good to revisit it...
I had coloured this little cake with my blends and then popped it in my "basket of shame." Which is a rather dramatic name for a basket I have of half finished toppers/stamped images/already coloured images, ready to make into a card. The problem is I have far too many half finished projects, hence the recent re-naming of said basket from the much gentler "projects to-do basket" ;-)
I also made this watercoloured stripes striped background, using Wild Wasabi ink on shimmery white card, a-g-e-s ago and had it ready to use *-* Will I ever learn? ;-)
The stamps and dies are available as a bundle but don't forget, just 'till the end of March, the framelits are available as a Sale-a-Bration item. Please use the special code for this if choosing the dies or any of the "final wave" items as a SaB choice. More info on SaB choices can be found HERE.
Sentiment is from the Cake Soiree set too and I stamped it on Vellum card before layering it onto more wasabi, hiding the glue with silver enamel hearts.
Right, well that's todays card! What do you think? Let me know in the comments :-)
Thanks for looking today!

Magical Day Mermaid on a Narrow Notecard

Happy Sunday!
I hope this post finds you well? Last week was super crafty for me but I have hardly managed to get in my craft room this week, which has been tough after thinking I was not very busy this week! My days seem to have been pretty full of jobs *-*
So, today we are finishing off the tiling in the kitchen but I wanted to hop on here and share a card with you first :-) This is another class card and it's a super cute Narrow Notecard. I love the size of these little notecards, they make such cute cards for sending sweet little messages...
I used the mermaid for this one atop another of those tags from the Sweet Cake framelits which, incidentally, are now offered as a choice for Sale-a-Bration if you spend £90* :-D
*NOTE: Please ensure you use the correct code for the new SaB product choices from the regular catalogues. Feel free to message me of you have any questions :-)
I added the sweet seahorse as a subtle pattern down one side and also some of the pink tinsel ribbon to the tag for that essential sparkle!
and here's those extra SaB choices for you again...
Well, that's all from me today, I hope you enjoyed this new narrow notecard. Have you got any of them yet? I'd love to see your makes with them (or any SU! product) over on my Facebook group I created especially for sharing your creations!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you get a chance to be crafty today!

More Epic Celebrations Pink Converse!

Hello there,
I have another card for you today using Epic Celebrations, I think I have made the most cards with this set (with a few more still to come) during the last couple of months but please remember that Sale-a-Bration finishes in just a few short weeks *-* Yep, no more of these fabulous free products after the end of March, leaving just over three more weeks to get hold of those SaB products you've had your eye on ;-)
So, I coloured these converse style trainers using my Blends at my blends class the other day, I think it's my best bit of  Blends colouring yet...
Practice makes perfect. No, I'm definitely not perfect but the more I use the Blends the better I (think) I'm getting ;-)
I embossed the Pool Party card with the Hexagon Dynamic Folder, (every time I use this folder I wonder why I don't use it more often?) then added holes with the 1/16" handheld punch, another handy tool to have, for the "laces"
Finish by adding to a Smoky Slate base and add a sentiment, also from the Epic Celebration set.
So, do you love this set as much as I do? Let me know in the comments!
