Good Morning to you all,
Welcome to the first lay in of the holidays... well the first one without the school run anyway!
I have scheduled this post so I will probably be still in my jarmies when this publishes ;-) well, here's hoping anyway!
So onto the crafty stuff!
I have a picture today of the bath bombs I made for the teachers as part of their gifts, I gave one to each of the teachers and also the assistants, they might need a nice relaxing bath after all the stress of working with kids all year ;-)

I put four of the bombs in SU! large cello bags then simply a
made a matching tag tying them on with ribbon, unfortunately ran out after four so had to use cello for the last two, a bit more fiddly but I used this to my advantage and tied with different colour ribbon and made those two the ones for the actual teachers, good plan eh?!

And here they are all together, In the end I put each set in a paper bag and added a matching tag, it was late when I made these so didn't get a piccie unfortunately. Apple is fromTart and Tangy stamped in versamark and For You is from One of a Kind
So that's all for today, thanks for stopping by and have a great day

Vintage Vogue for Sarah

Hello,
What fab weather we are having, please don't tell me this is summer tho! lol!
I am also hoping the sun stays so I can improve the colours of my photos, I took this a couple of weeks ago before I sent it to the lovely Sarah P, {forever known to me as roomie} but as you can probably tell the sun was most definitely hiding this day, tut!
Card base is Chocolate Chip teamed with the fabulously beautiful Bridesmaid papers, Sentiment from Sincere Salutations,
a gorgeous scallop circle flower made using Vellum card stock, stamped with the flower vine in Choc Chip and Close to Cocoa inks before punching,
Inside using the lovely "F" friends stamp, still Vintage Vogue and small strip of Bridesmaid papers again {no waste either!}
and finally Twill Tape tied along the spine which I again stamped with the pretty flowery vine in chocolate chip ink,
That's all for today, I will be back tomorrow with a card which we will be making at this Saturdays class where we will be using some of the gorgeous new products from the new mini catalogue.
If you would like your own copy to drool over then email me your addy and I will pop one in the post to you asap,
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx

Mini Pizza Gift Boxes

Helloooo,
Well, are you done?? I am neeearly finished, just got about 3 or 4 presents left to wrap and later today we are going to brave the dreaded food shop! eeek! Then that's it, I'll be ready. I have promised the kids I will take them to IKEA for breakfast on Wednesday (they love it, honest!)
Right onto today's project, I am afraid I can't possibly tell you what is in these boxes as the ladies I am giving them to all see my blog on Facebook!
ETA: I am going to enter these into the SWU challenge this week which is Christmas theme! yay!

Well there isn't really too much to say about these except I had made a whole batch of these fan things and decided I would use them on these boxes too ;0) I have made one using the same snowflake as the milk carton because one of the ladies came to my class and already made the fan...

I am trying to use up some of my older stash and the ribbon I have used is just that,
Sentiment is Best Yet the retired hostess set for last years catty, Choc Chip, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Kraft card was used with the Winters Post snowflake :0) Punches used were Scallop Circle, Oval and Scalloped Oval ((what did I do before these punches were in my drawer??)
Right must dash, back tomorrow with a card I made in a flash to hold some gift vouchers for my friend,
Have a good day, oh and if you go out be careful, especially if you have snow!

Punch Cupcake

Hello,
Hope you are all doing well.I have a card today using the punch cupcake we made at my Crazy for Cupcakes class a few weeks ago (although at the time of writing this it is tomorrow, how freaky is this, not to mention actually quite hard to do)
I made a couple of extra cupcakes when planning for the class and then joined them together with foam pads with some fine fishing wire between to make a suspension card,

Here it is open so you can see the cake movement, Pearls from stash,

and here is the inside

Papers used are Sweet Always (again!) stamps are from the Crazy for Cupcakes set, Scallop border, Tab and Scallop Circle punches used,

That's it for today, Thanks for popping by

Cheers!

As I promised yesterday, todays card is made using a wheel, the "Cheers" wheel to be more specific! It goes with the "Cheers to You" set also used on this card. I think it is a great wheel to colour but you could also use it with a tone on tone ink and card for a different look or to make it a speedier card.

I used summer picnic papers for the background, {Love these they are so summery ;0)} then I coloured the wheel and the cocktail using a blender pen and ink pads, decoupaging the umbrella and lemon. I also used glossy accents on the glass.

Here is the special view....

Well, that's it for today,

I hope you all have a good one and thanks for dropping by, I really love that you visit my little blog :0)

Mothers day cards

Morning all,
I have scheduled this post to come up at 9am so hopefully it will be morning when you read this !! (fingers crossed )

O.K. so lots of piccies today. They are of 3 cards I have made for mothers day (yet not for my mum or mil yet #eeek#)
I have used my new favourite set "A Rose is a Rose" again, told you I had lots of ideas for it !! All stamped with the help of the invaluable Stamp-a-mi-jig.

Now I know these are all pretty similar But the first one is for my Nan from my Mum, I did a special "Julie" bow on this one (hope it's O.K. Julie!) Rose stamped in Summer sun and then over stamped with Regal rose, leaves in old olive. Paper is B.G., Scallop oval at the bottom is in Cameo Coral (don't have Regal Rose card stock as of yet but I think it works O.K. ? !)

This take is with Sweet Always papers on the card base and for the bottom layer of the oval, Choc chip card stock and Pretty in pink textured card stock both punched with scalloped edge punch, Rose stamped in Regal Rose and Rose Red. Choc chip grosgrain ribbon, Sentiment is from the very useful Occasional Greetings set. All SU! and available to buy through me !!

Last Layout you may recognise from a couple of weeks ago on the Mojo Monday Blog. Well I made a card with this L/O and it worked so well I decided to use it again !!. Paper this time is SU! Choc Chip DP, ribbon from stash .

Final Photo is of the inside of one, but they were all pretty much the same, just slightly different colours, background to the rose image in the corner is a scalloped circle punched out and then cut to about 1/2 way in to make a 'flower'. Sentiment is from the Loads of love set.

Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you may leave,

Lots more to show you this week as have a couple of commissions which I finished just now/last night :)

Corner bookmark challenge

Hi all,
Well I've been trying to squeeze this challenge in all week set by 3D challenge blog and boy am I glad I did !! It was so easy and fun to do and now all my kids want one too, may whip them up in a mo ! I can see a lot of these being made in the not too distant future !

The blue one is for a friend and it matches his card, which I will post tomorrow, and the pink one I will give to my mum or sister-not sure yet...

The blue one uses SU! Not quite navy card stock randomly stamped with versmark ink with my fave set "Loads of Love" . I then stamped it with staz on onto white card and cut out, I paper pieced the truck with "Old olive" DP.

The pink one was made ising the "Cheers to you" set (Gasp! it's first use) and then I used my watercolour brush to colour the cocktail with the following SU! ink pads : Pumpkin pie, Pretty in pink, Old olive and Real red. Scalloped bottom done with SU! punch. Sweet Always Papers on triangle part.

All Stampin Up! products available through me , I can send to anywhere in the counry with no need for a party (unless you want one !) nor any minimum spend.
Thanks for looking, Happy Sunday to y'all !
