Greenhouse Garden Invitations

Hello to you all today,
I hope your Halloween day is going well. Are you all looking forward to going trick or treating tonight? I know we are :0) just about to start decorating the house...
First of all though, here are the invitations I mentioned the other day, These were a request from a friend who is having a tea party for her mums birthday in a few weeks, but as I am away on Thursday to Germany (Whooo, hooo SU convention) for the weekend and I have also got loads on this week including going to the theatre on Tuesday to see HSM 2 {;0)} and working all the other nights up to Thursday, so I thought I had better get on with them!!
Base card is some lovely pearl card I have had in my stash for absolute ages, Ink pads for this pretty colour combo are Pale Plum and Perfect Plum with layers of Pale Plum card.
I made this from A4 card cut down and scored into a tri-fold card, then added a removable band which I printed You're Invited onto.

I am totally in love with this set, it is a 2 step set a bit like A Rose is a Rose but 4 different flowers and 2 stems for only £22.95 which I think is fantastic value for 10 stamps.
Invitation was printed from the computer.

Here is the dimensional shot, as you can see I have raised the image on the front band but layered the image at the top of the invite so it is between the layers of the invitation, IYKWIM!
And finally here they are all together, surprisingly they didn't take all that long -once I had decide on the design of course, that took me ages as usual!! I did do another sample for my friend to choose which one she liked, so I will share that with you probably on Monday.
Last thing left to say is have a lovely Halloween...
Wwwhhhhhahahahahahahahah!!!

Jeannettes Birthday :0)

Good Morning to you all,
I have scheduled this post as today I'm taking the kids out today to a tree house centre which is just down the road from me. I didn't even realise it was so close 'till last week when Zack was invited to a party there in a couple of weeks, *shame on me* They have got an open day tomorrow as it's half term with lots of fun things to do. I think I am looking forward to it more than the kiddies !!
Right onto the card, this one is for Jeannette, my SU! sister who's birthday it was on Tuesday, hope it was a good one hun xxx I hope she has got this already what with the postal strike and all...

I used a different design for a change today, thought you may get fed up with seeing easel style ones!?! Don't worry I'm sure they will be back very soon,

Stamp set used is the fab Flight of the Butterfly with it's matching punch {{love it}}
Card is Pale Plum with matching Pale Plum and Perfect Plum inks,

Some butterflies were stamped on card and then others stamped on SU! Vellum card stock and heat embossed using clear embossing powder to set.

I tied this one for dimension with some ribbon I had in my stash,

And finally here is the side view so you can see properly the mountains and valleys, said in a very "Stacey (Gavin and Stacey)" way :0) LOL!!
I hope you are all enjoying the half term break, do come back tomorrow as I have been working on a set of invites for a friend who is having a little get together for her mum's 75th birthday.
I hope to see you here,

Cupcakes coloured using ink pads and a waterbrush,

*****woooaaahhhaahahahah!!!!!!*****
Hello to you today, I have been very busy this morning getting my gifts ready for all the little darlings who will knock our door in a week or so.
I LOVE Halloween, so I always dress up the front of the house (and the inside, of course) with lots of cob webs and pumpkins and the like. I will take a photo and share it with you when I do :-)
Well, being unusually prepared for this time of year I have some piccies to share with you...

I got the lovely basket from TK maxx, I saw it and HAD to have it!!!!
Isn't it cool? with the spider on the side and the bottom is a web :0)
Card is some I had to use up from ages ago, printed with spots downloaded from Pink Petticoat, Fibres from stash, Embossing folder I have had for a while, toppers punched using SU! punches, {Star and Circle ones} each layered differently for extra yumminess.
And this is whats inside! a couple of sweets and some sort of plastic scary thing, be it a skull like this one, a spider, a ring with a scary face on it......
Well, I hope you like them and most of all I hope the kids do
That's all for now,

Another Christmas one

Good Morning to you!
I hope you are all having a fine morning, I am! Got loads to do, Halloween gifts, Cards to make, swaps to make etc, etc...but at least I am starting to feel 'normal' again, well normal for me, not sure everyone else would say I was normal! rofl!
Well, best get on with it!
I have another card in the same colourway as yesterday but this time it's a 'Z Fold' card, {not sure if they are called that but that's what I call them ;0)}
I used the jolly Santa's face and sentiment from the same "Old Fashioned Christmas" set today, with some of the yummy Choc Chip double stitched grosgrain ribbon,
I embossed the panel under the ribbon with some snowflakes (another find in my crimbo stash box)
Charm I also had in my stash from last year (yay!) tied on here with linen thread,

Card base is Choc Chip with Very Vanilla layers, stamped in Close to Cocoa.
Well I hope you like the second in my set of three chocolate Christmas cards (the best sort of Christmas eh? chocolaty!) Do come back tomorrow and see the third one.

The start of .....

....a little Christmas feelin' !!
Good morning to you, I apologise for not blogging yesterday but Zack was party dude this weekend and so no time for card making I'm afraid :0( anyway yesterday I made 3 crimbo cards, so I must be feeling better!
They are all in the same colourway (choc chip, close to cocoa and very vanilla) and using the sweet 'Old Fashioned Christmas' set.

The first one I am going to show you today is this easel card, this has become very popular lately on lots of blogs. I love it as it is standard size to post but something a bit different. I made one for Zack's friends birthday on Sunday but unfortunately forgot to photograph it *doh* when I showed Zack he was very disappointed he didn't get one like it for his birthday!! you can't win can you?
This is the inside. The lovely tree, the holly branch and the sentiment are all from this set, spotty paper is from Choc Chip Designer Papers
The images are stamped in close to cocoa onto very vanilla card and then sponged around the edges to age it a little,
Well that's it for today, I hope you like and for more Christmas come back tomorrow :0)

Happy Birthday Kiera :0)

Morning folks,
First of all, Thank-you for all your kind comments wishing me well soon, I am sorry to say I feel terrible still! I am having a lazy day today but first I have a card I made yesterday (which took me ages 'cause I just couldn't get it together!) for my friends daughter who's 11th birthday it is today- but we went to visit her yesterday for a bit of birthday tea, I really hope I didn't give everyone the lurgie!

I made a stand up card for her in bright pink (Pink Passion)

Flower from All in the Family Accessories, Sentiment from Sincere Salutations, Name stamped with Short Order Alphabet (retired)

I coloured this cute, but cool (I hope) image with my pro-markers. More of that lovely striped ribbon, this time in Black and White **yummy** Button from stash, Linen thread tied through it,
and finally here is the side view,
I am sorry I never managed to post Marlene's card yesterday, but I promise I will be back tomorrow with hers and a couple more from our shoe box swap from our Jems weekend away,
Take Care and have a lovely day,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
