This Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper is the In Colour Stack (page 91) and I made a Ribbon Rose with the matching Poly Twill ribbon and XL Fancy Flower punch,
And a little decoration inside,

Table Favours

Hello,
Another busy day today! I will be prepping for Saturday's charity card class today and then making cakes this afternoon :-)
Just wanted to share with you the favours I made for Nicky and Mandi's 40th birthday table at Prezzo's Monday night, this box is a die cut (non SU)
I made them with Basic Black card with whisper white and melon mambo panels at the sides, I also added initials using the pretty and fancy Broadsheet Alphabet, with the birthday girls having a flower behind their initials too,
The panels were embossed using the Big Shot and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder,
Well, a short post today from me. Before I go don't forget my special offer for July is still running, lots more on that HERE, including either half price or even FREE post on selected orders or host a workshop and earn all the freebies --anywhere in the country :-) I look forward to helping you with your orders!

Now, I know I always say I love the challenges on SSC (and I really do!) but this week I LOVE the colours, I admit, I wasn't sure when I read them but as soon as I started playing, well, I was really pleased with the end result, I have already sent it up to my Nan and she was dead chuffed too :-)
I made another ribbon flower which we will be making at this months class.
I unexpectedly have a couple of free places again on Monday if you wish to join us, message me for more details :-D
See HERE for the first two projects we will be making and pop back tomorrow for the last sneak peek :-)
Sentiment is from the very versatile Sincere Salutations finished with some more of the super soft Stitched In Colour Poly Ribbon and an Itty Bitty Button.
You can also see here I spritzed the Concord Crush card layer with shimmer spray,
I added a punched flower inside, embossed to match,

First Part of June's Class

Hello,
Well, it has just absolutely thrown it down! and being so close to the I.O.W. I truly feel sorry for the poor folks at the festival this weekend, I hear it isn't going to get much better either!! and now it is heavy hail stones too, eek!
Anyway, this morning I have been finishing off my designs for this months class, my regular ladies wanted a techniques class so I have incorporated 3 ribbon flowers, heat embossing and dry embossing.
It promises to be great fun and I have had a couple of spaces become unexpectedly available too, so contact me now reserve your space!
So, onto the first card, I am using the lovely In Colours for this months class and this pretty pink is called Blushing Bride and I have used the colour coach to team it with Sahara Sand and Perfect Plum,
I embossed the patterned paper with the Vintage Wallpaper folder and used the gorgeous Stitched Poly Ribbon for the flower centre,
There will also be enough matching paper for you to decorate the inside,
and second project today is a little pillow box with another cute ribbon rose, this time using seam binding ribbon and again the Vintage Wallpaper folder,
I used Tiny Tags to decorate the Rose Red box, there is also an abundance of shimmer spray this month too ;-)
so, that's two of the projects for this months class, I will be back on Sunday with the other one as tomorrow is of course Simply Stampin' Challenge day and it's a goodie again, do come and see and if you get a chance we would love you to play along,
Thanks for stopping by today,

Happy Birthday to our Zoe!

Good morning,
Today is our (not so) little Zoe's 10th Birthday, I know everyone says this but I can hardly beleive it's been 10 years! and she is just growing up so fast at the minute too, becoming a real young lady :-D
Anyway, after yesterdays Tutorial  I promised I would share with you the card, and it is all decorated for Zoe's birthday,
Broadsheet Alphabet used to write Zoe, Just Perfect Alpha for "today" and the hearts were punched using the heart to heart punch,
XL Fancy Flower punch out,
and finally sentiment is from Curly Cute, I inked the "Happy" first with markers, then "Birthday" and stamped it underneath, and I got it in the right place first time without a samaj, get me! ha ha! I punched it out with the XL oval punch and edged with scalloped oval punch outs to finish,
Well, I hope you like Zoe's birthday card from us, must dash as I have to get ready for this evenings tea party but I will be back soon with some more loveliness to share with you all,

1st Birthday

Hello,
I am soo excited to show you the lovely box of Mini Catalogue goodies delivered yesterday! Unfortunately I was in the middle of cleaning the oven :-( but I am definitely going to have a long play with all the yumminess today, I cannot wait to show you what is in the new catalogue, but more on that soon, I promise..
Back to today's card, I was asked by a friend to make this 1st birthday card and the request was "Very Pink, please" I think I managed that O.K. ;-)
This card is 8"x8" with a base of pretty in pink and rose red DSP (retired)
I used the Party This Way banner with the Just Perfect Alphabet, I punched a tiny hole for the Silver Cord to go through and attached it to the card using Subtles buttons and glue dots,
the number one is from Schoolbook Serif numbers and the today is from Basic Phrases,
the pretty crown is from Every Little Bit blinged with glitter and a white satin bow to break up a little of the pink *wink*
and finally a picture of inside with the XL Fancy  Flower Punch, sentiment is from Afterthoughts the level one hostess set,
Thanks for visiting today,
I hope you like today's card, I am off to play with my new goodies :-D

Ribbon Rose Tutorial

Hello there,
I love it when you make projects using my tutorials but please be sure to link back here and give credit when you make and post to your blog.
Thank-you for your understanding and I hope you enjoy this tutorial xx
Wow! What a fabulous response I have had to the little ribbon roses I have been making! I have had a few requests for a tutorial so always happy to help here we go :-) although I must warn you in advance this is a long post with lots of pictures!
Lets begin, this is what you need...
3/4" circle punch (you can also use 1" for a larger version), ribbon, card in matching colour to your chosen ribbon, double sided tape, scissors and (optional) rhinestones to finish,

tape up a piece of card and punch out, it will be stiff as the tape sticks to the punch a little :-)

tie a knot as close to the end of the ribbon as you can, leaving it on the reel so you have no waste,
remove tape and stick the knot into the middle of the card tucking the ends under,
fold and twist around in a circle as shown,
when you have covered the circle, stick another piece of tape underneath, cut and stick the ribbon end to it,
and here is the finished flower, blinged up and stuck in the centre of a large flower here but it also looks good on it's own, see here and here for some others,
Well, I hope this is helpful to some of you. I think they are pretty, simple and a little bit of fun to make, if you have a go then please send me your pictures, if you blog them then I would greatly appreciate a link from yours back to this tutorial :-D
I will be back tomorrow with what I made with this pretty flower. Well, I couldn't let it go to waste once I had made it could I??

Sweet Summer

Hello there!
Wishing all my lovely blog readers a Happy New Year! I do hope that your Christmas (and New Year) were fabulous and you had everything you desired in your stocking ;-) Santa, aka: hubs, left me a lovely new camera :-D
We start the new year with a BANG! as usual with SU! and their fabulous Sale-a-Bration promotion, I have spent the last day or two playing with the FREE set you can earn (along with the choice of 3 others, see top post) when you spend just £45!
This set we received as a free bonus at Convention from SU! If you would like to come to convention this year (in Paris) then now is also a fantastic time to join SU! as you can also receive an extra free set of your choice up to any value from the catalogue. You can join SU! for just £119 for the starter kit containing goods to the value of more than £230, contact me for a no pressure chat to find out more :-D
Onto the card for today, now the colours I am loving at the moment in my home are Green, Blue and Pink, I love them together. You will see I also had my baubles in this combo for Christmas if you scroll down a little.
I have made quite a few cards with this combo so I hope you like it too! lol!
This one is in brighter tones so Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Tempting Turquoise.
I stamped the background with a stem from the set which I think makes a great flourish, in Wild Wasabi onto matching card, ribbon is Regal Rose grosgrain,
I stamped these flowers and coloured them using a blender pen then cut them out by hand, gluing the outside ones and using a dimensional on the middle one.
Don't you just love that little butterfly and bee too??

an arty angle, I stuck the paper down flat as the I wanted the flower to take centre stage,

So, that's SAB started then! I hope you like the card I made today and if you want to get your hands on this set for FREE then email me with your order.
Don't forget I am also starting the marker club this month, please email me asap if you would like to join as I only have 1 place left.
Thanks for stopping by today, I promise things will get back to normal round here now the kids are back to school, I am also working on a tutorial for the after eight mint holder as requested by Liz x
