In Every Season CAS Card in Berry Burst

Hello there and happy Sunday!
I hope you weekend is going well? I have a sweet card for you today using the "In Every Season" stamps again, see more with this set HERE, and I used Berry Burst ink pad with blender pens to colour this image...
I layered the image using stitched shape framelits and Fresh Fig card for a darker tone.
Adding some Berry Burst ribbon that I found in my "box of shame" half finished card makes. I like how the simple strip just lifts this card though, do you?
And that's it! I think these small images lend themselves really well to clean and simple cards so that's it!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoy the rest of your SUnday and I'll be back tomorrow with another card :-)
'Till then, happy stamping!

A Bright, Fun Colour Challenge with Inspire. Create. Challenges

Hello there and welcome to another card for Inspire. Create. Challenges!
This fortnight the challenge is a colour one and we are using Melon Mambo Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.
To visit the Inspire. Create. Challenge blog click HERE where the other DT members will surely have a whole heap of inspiration for you :-)
As I usually use pastel colours these bright colours made a really nice change, pushing me out of my comfort zone. I used them with these adorable Flying Home birdhouse stamps...
I used blender pens and my ink pads to colour this image in and I also added a couple of neutrals with Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede.
And a few stamped leaves, from Heart Happiness set, gives the base card a bit of interest.
Finished with a tiny Daffodil Delight bow. This actual ribbon is retired but you can still purchase the double stitched Daffodil ribbon which has a lovely criss-cross pattern.
We do hope you join us for this challenge, I've loved playing with these colours and really hope you have a go too :-)

Thanks so much for looking today, I'll be back soon with another card.

Using Giggle Greetings by Stampin' Up! for a Man's Card.

Hello there,
Today's post is a card we made at class using Giggle Greetings. I hadn't used this  set in quite a while and isn't that a shame?. We made this card, which is perfect for those tricky fellas, in a neutral Crumb Cake, Hello Honey and Navy colourway, what do you think....
The image was stamped using staz on onto watercolour paper and then coloured in with blender pens and ink pads. Lastly we added a navy part circle to the bottom for contrast.
A simple strip of card and a knot of (retired) thick twine decorate the bottom of the card
This front panel and image circle is popped up on dimensionals.
All supplies are listed at the end of this post :-)
and one final picture to finish today
OK, that's all from me for today, I have had a very busy morning with still a few things to do this afternoon! Hopefully I might get a chance to make something soon though ;-)
Thanks, as ever, for looking today
