Highland Heather Needle and Thread Card

Hello and happy Saturday :-)
I am really looking forward to this weekend even though I have a very long list of things that absolutely must get done!!
Today's card is another one from class and for this make we used a lovely colour palette of Highland Heather and Pool Party which gives a very fresh and pretty look, let's see...
We stamped the fine, stitched effect image down the side before layering die cut squares together...
...and topping them with a selection of stamped flowers and leaves and a little (retired) pool party thread too.
All finished off with a sprinkling of pretty pearls!
This was a popular choice at class last week, what do you think of it?
Well, that's me for today. I will be back tomorrow with not one, but three punch art tutorials for you using the Needle and Thread dies as a starting point :-D
'Till then, happy stamping,

A Bottles and Bubbles Celebration!

Hello there,
Todays make is a card that we made in class and I thought would work well for the guys in your life! I love this set for making beer bottles although (obvs) it works brilliantly for pop or squash bottles too. A truly versatile little set...
I used the Wood Textures DSP (on offer this month) adding a few stamped bubbles to it.
I layered the "celebrate" sentiment three times to make it stand out a bit more. I really like this effect and have been doing it quite a bit lately...
Add in a touch of linen thread before layering the bottles over and that's it!
The ladies at class all enjoyed making this card and I hope you have enjoyed it here today too!

Party Pandas for Stampin' Blends Class

Hi there!
Today I have another card we made at my first Stampin' Blends class this week. I used the Party Pandas and they are really quick and easy to colour and so just perfect for practicing with the blends....
 As you probably know Party Pandas are a Sale-a-Bration freebie and I have teamed them here with some of the Tutti Frutti cards, which are also a SaB product.
I cut them down and used them as a backing layer, a great way to make these free notecards go even further ;-)
 I heat embossed the sentiment with white embssing powder and coloured this one with the dark Pool Party Blends pen, but this technique works well with any of the blends.
 I wanted to keep this card quite flat for easy posting so I also ran my blend pen around the edge of the white layer to make it pop without adding another layer.
And that's all from me for today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card?
Thanks for looking today :-)

Class News and NEW Stampers 6 starting in February :-)

Hello!
Today I want to talk to you a little bit about a few fun things I have starting this month!
~~~~~
First of all there's my new, three part Stampin' Blends Class which I will be holding here, near Southampton/New Forest, and the new news is these classes will also be available as a Kit to Post!
I am starting this three part class designed to help you collect the whole set of Stampin' Blends. Then we will practice using them and make beautiful cards and projects too!
PLUS, because this set of classes happens during Sale-a-Bration you can also choose a FREE stamp set from the level one choices in the SaB catalogue (I recommend either Party Pandas or Epic Celebration as I will be using these sets for a card in this first class). HERE is the link to the SaB catalogue.
The class cost is £45 (+£3 post) which includes the first 9 pens for your collection, one memento ink pad, spare card plus materials to make the projects in person (minus the stamped images, as per SU! policy, for the posted version.) The only thing you'll need extra is adhesive, which you can purchase at the class in person or add it to your order to be delivered together with the kit. For those choosing the kit version I will be doing exclusive "class only" video tutorials for three cards (per class) for you to watch at your leisure, as many times as you like.
Please Note: In the second and third months I will assume you have the previous months pens.
Bookings for this class must be made by 28th January to ensure delivery of products in time for the class.
Spaces at the in person classes only are limited as I like to keep them small so I can help out as little or as much as needed. Please don't worry if you are new to crafting or are more experienced as the projects are always suitable for everyone.
I'd love to share my love of crafting with you!
Email me at sarah-janerae@sky.com for more details or to book your place or order a "Kit in the Post".
~~~~~
And in more news, due to popular demand,  I am starting a new Stamp Club this February :-)
I have just two places left for this 6 month club where you commit to spending a minimum of £25 per month for 6 months and for one of these months you will get all the hostess benefits! That's at least £15 to spend on your hostess month but (I think) the best bit is that you have the opportunity to purchase those hard to achieve hostess stamp sets which are also a reduced price, winner! Like this "In The City" hostess stamp set, I love this one...
So, if this is something that you might be interested in please drop me a message and I can answer any questions you may have and then get you signed up :-)
 Right, that's all from me for today. I'll be back tomorrow at 10am (GMT) with a new card for the Inspire. Create. Challenges and it's a cracker of a challenge! So I hope to see you here :-)
Thanks for looking today.

Sneak Peek at Octobers Card Class using Carols of Christmas by SU!

Hello and welcome today :-)
I have a card to share with you today that we will be making at my All Day Card Class in October.
Reminder: I have just two places left on the Monday 9th class and four spaces on Saturday 7th. Message me to join in the fun before the 22nd September (this is to ensure all the products arrive in time). More class details can be found HERE.
OK, so lets see what we'll be making - well, one of the card designs anyway ;-)
 I love the Powder Pink, Navy and Tranquil Tide colour combo. Fresh and fun for Christmas.
 I love when there are matching dies with a stamp set.
 And this font <3 nbsp="" p="">
Short and sweet from me today as I'm off up to Yorkshire to see my SU! Mum and Sisters today. I can't wait!
'Till tomorrow
