Thanks for coming :-)

Hello,
I have had a very busy couple of days again, car went in for it's MOT today, great excuse for IKEA brekkie tho ;- and the roof struts went on today too!
But first I will show you the little note books I covered for the ladies who came to this months class, just a little "thank-you" gift to show them how much I truly appreciate them coming to each months class.
If you are interested in joining us for next months class see side bar for dates and email me for more info sarah-janerae@sky.com
Back to the note books, I love this very summery combo of Old Olive and Whisper White, it reminds me of fresh green apples!
Old Olive DSP used on Whisper White card stock base, Just Perfect Alpha used with Itty Bitty Buds level 2 hostess set, (another underused set, eek!) with a little loop of super soft wide stripey ribbon on the side,

and here they are all together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And, as requested, here are the latest photos of the build, here is the first level of the concrete floor,
and today's progress is the roof struts, from the front of the house,
and across the back
so great to see it taking shape, they have also re-pointed the side wall of the house this week. Had another quick look at the kitchens at IKEA today, still trying to decide on the final design ;-)
That's it for tonight, thanks for stopping by today and I will be back with my first ever attempt at a 6x6 scrapbook tomorrow, be gentle!
Long Time No See!
Hello,
Hope you have enjoyed this lovely warm weekend, gutted about the footie tho, Not good boys (in case they happen to be reading this! LOL!)
So anyway, my blog title explains a it about my post today, I have used the lovely A Rose is a Rose set which as mentioned I haven't used in far too long, here it is teamed with Pale and Perfect Plum, a gorgeous combo. Sadly Pale Plum will be leaving us in October so if you "need" this colour ink pad or card (or any other colour for that matter) then contact me for further info,
I cut out and layered some of the roses and leaves, Super soft white satin ribbon, great for big bows like this,
and a quick pic of the inside,
Now, before I go I thought I would share with you how I decorated my bone folders before the craft show I did, I used the very yummy stitched felt flowers, they are just so versatile,
Well thats all for today, I am taking Zoe to Paultons Park for the day today as she has another inset day (just Zoe this time)
Lets hope the weather keeps up, at least 'till next weekend when I am not working ;-)
Thank for dropping by,
An update and hello,
Hello,
Just a little post to say "Hi", Hubby is home from hospital but v. sore, it is so nice to have him home though, remind me of that when he is annoying me next week once we get back to normal, won't you?! he he!
I have been creating but I still can't share most of it with you yet, I have made a card or two this afternoon which I need to finish and then I will take their piccies and share the with you tomorrow, I will leave you tonight with a pic or two of the house, they have poured the first part of the slab tonight and hope to have a roof next week! whoop!
Here, I am stood in what will be Josh's room when taking this photo, Josh is coming out of the current kitchen into what will be the utility with the (most important) room... my craft room at the end! not that I am excited or anything ;-)
And this is the view from the back, this is where the new lovely kitchen will be,
Thank-you all for stopping by and I promise I will be a much better blogger next week.
Bye for now and Stampin' Hugs
Hello,
How's your week going? Busy, busy here still, they are going to be whacking today ready to pour the slab :-D and hubby is having his little op today too (hopefully) to remove the offending stone, or at the very least blast it so it is smaller and then we can start to get on with life again ;-) Lots to be doing!
I have a little pot of butterflies to share with you today, I displayed these at the paper craft show as a book to look. If you wish to book a workshop I will happily bring this to your workshop for you to choose one and win an extra prize to be delivered with your order, not forgetting that right now is a great time to host a workshop, see side bar for details of June and July's brilliant offer.
Email me for more details sarah-janerae@sky.com
I just *LOVE* this colour combination, it is just sooo summery and yet sophisticated.
Cameo Coral, Kraft (soon to be called Crumb Cake) and Black, mmmm. Think I may have to use it again veeery soon!
And these cute butterflies are stamped onto and then punched out of Pink Flamingo DSP, simply gorgeous :-D
Well, that's it from me today, Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Fathers Day and a Simple Boys Card
Hello
First of all Happy Fathers Day to all you men out there!
Hows your weekend going? We are having a very quiet day as hubby is back in hospital with his kidney stones! and for Fathers Day too, boo :-( We are re-scheduling it 'till next Sunday I think!
But other things keep going while he is away, the walls are almost finished on the extension so that's one good thing ;-)
I have been keeping busy whilst I am here on my own as I have 6 birthdays next month, all done and ready but I will have to show you as they come round as I know a few of the people read this blog!
I have a really simple card I made for Josh to take to his friends 13th birthday (ooo, teenage boys, not the easiest to make for, but I think this worked out O.K.) last weekend, it uses Sweet Pea dsp (only available 'till the end Sept so better get some quick!)
Name stamped with Schoolbook Serif alphabet, punched stars (what would I do without this punch for male cards?) Sentiment from A Bit of Birthday Cheer and a couple of Earth Elements buttons to finish it off,
Arty Angle, I layered the main sentiment and a couple of the stars too and roughed up a few of the layers too,
Sorry for the short post, I hope to be back tomorrow but off to hospital to visit the patient now, Thanks for stopping by and Stampin' hugs to you all,
Spiral punch used along top edge, Sentiment inside from the retired hostess set as before,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And here are my trenches! kids hiding in there somewhere...
Here is the fetching pile of rubble in my front garden, he managed to get 1/2 of it in this truck.
and the big cement truck filling up the drive,

and today they are laying the blocks! it's all coming on fantastic,
Thanks for coming by, I hope you are still with me!

Butterfly Birthday

Hello,
Another busy weekend round here, all the footings are dug out, I will pop a piccie or two on tomorrow of the *massive* pile of soil and rubble which is currently residing in our front garden and drive! They are pouring the concrete tomorrow, so exciting!
So onto the card for today. I made this for Chris, my SU! sis. Oooh, that rhymes! lol! but seriously I just cant seem to get enough of this gorgeous new colour Rich Razzleberry and the matching papers Cottage Wall, only available while stocks last, as with the spotty ribbon! Highly recommend them both before they sell out!!
Here I have stamped with Flight of the Butterfly the top layer straight onto the DSP and then punched, but just punched the bottom layer, sponging all the edges in co-ordinating inks,
A little decoration on the inside,
And the arty angle, lots of dimension on this one! I stuck the tags down with dimensionals so they stayed in place when stood up,

Well, that's all for today, I hope you like.
Back tomorrow with a boy graduation card,
Thanks for stopping by today and
sending you all stampin' hugs,

Milk Carton for Dad's Day

Hello to you all,
I have popped on here to share a few photos of another Milk Carton I have made to send to my dad for Father's Day, I have filled it with sweets for him, all ready to post on Monday. I hope it gets there in time (it's got to go to Spain!)
They are busy digging the footings today for the extension today so I have not got any jobs to do in the house without getting in someones way, so nothing else to do but play then eh?!
Here it is front and back, I covered the Kraft base using the Cheers to You wheel and versamark, star punched out from Sweet Pea Designer Paper, Beer Mug is from Cheers to you, sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings set, and the football and boot is Just Soccer. Yummy Old Olive Satin Ribbon wrapped with Linen Thread finishes off the top.
As you can see I made it to match the card I showed you a few weeks ago.
Milk Carton Tutorial link is in the side bar-> -> -> ->

Short and sweet today I'm afraid, hopefully I will be back tomorrow with some more cardy stuff to share with you all, in the mean time have a nice Saturday and if you watch the footie "Come on England" :-)
Stampin' Hugs to you all,

Graduation Card for a Girl

Good Morning,
First up, to keep you updated I have no roof left on my old garage, sooo exciting and it is still outside, not to say there is no dust already mind ;-)
So, onto the card for today, a friend asked me to make 2 Graduation cards, one for her neice who is graduating from uni soon. Now, unfortunately I don't have any graduation stamps at all so I went with the very versatile New Years Celebration,
Colour combo is Kraft and Cameo Coral, ((loving the coral))
Paper on the bottom half is from Pink Flamingo, edged using the spiral punch, Graduate is stamped using the Just Perfect alpha,
yummy brad from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit,
Champagne and bubbles are topped in Crystal Effects,
The inside is finished with a little of the same dsp, sentiment is an old hostess set from last year, perfect sentiment tho right?

Well, thats it for today, they are taking down the garage walls today, weather permitting I suppose, excting times round our way right now,
Thanks for stopping by, I really love that you do and Stampin' hugs to you all,

Vintage 3D Card

Good morning,
I have scheduled this post as my builders are starting today! how exciting, now I've finished all the prep that is ;-)
Anyways, I have a card to share with you today, I was asked by a friend to make a special card for a special friend of hers and this is what I came up with,

I used the scrummy "bride" papers, although I think they are more like card stock weight, lovely. Sentiment is from Sincere Salutations,

I made the roses using the Vintage Vogue flower and wrapped fine wire threaded with pearl beads to encircle the roses,

The inside,

and finally, I had to make a box to put the card in as it wouldn't go in the envelope!

I think it would also make a great wedding card too, I am so in love with this Rich Razzleberry colour, so rich and yet modern,
So that's it from me today, thanks for dropping by and don't forget to leave a comment so I know you have been,
