'A Little Wild' Lion by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
I'm back with another "A Little Wild" card! This time I've used the little lion to make another peek-a-boo card, notice the little loop of twine under the lion?
I teamed him with some paper from the wood textures pad for a rustic look, lets see shall we?
I die cut a circle from the paper using the stitched edge framelits (have you noticed how much I adore these??) and added a little **Halloween Night bakers twine** around the bottom before adhering it flat then popped the circle up on dimensionals.
**At the time of writing this post this twine is still available on the clearance rack for just £2.20 - and thats for two spools!! Go, go, go!!!**
I die cut the stamped and coloured lion from shimmer card using the matching framelits. I then die cut a second, plain layer so I could add the loop of twine between the layers to keep it hidden. Stamp the sentiment and we are good to go!
How super cute are these little guys?!
And before I go I just wanted to share a full shot of the lion (I trimmed the tag topper away) with it's front and back. I am hoping to make a spinner card with this guy soon...
OK, that's all from me for now. Are you a fan of "A Little Wild" now too?

Using 'In The City' Hostess Stamp Set

Hello there!
I was very excited when I saw this new hostess stamp set in the new catalogue :-) I love everything about it! I made this card with my first play by simply stamping a selection of outlines and using a variety of colours to in fill them in before fussy cutting them out. I had no idea what I was going to make, I just *needed* to play with it!! See....
I ended up adding some images flat and the others with dimensionals for a layered effect.
Pop in a few clouds, the sun and a plane and I was done!
I plan on stamping a whole scene and watercolouring it very soon too....
Crazy, modern and fun! I love it!
You can earn this by hosting a workshop or collecting orders over £150 or even placing your own large order! Hop over to my SHOP to choose...
I do hope you enjoyed today's card? Thanks so much for stopping by today :-)

Using the Oh So Eclectic bundle by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I have a card today that I used the little pieces out of the trellis die from THIS CARD. I went with a Tranquil Tide base with Lemon-Lime twist overlay pieces and Berry Burst flowers. The flowers were  then topped with a vanilla card fine flower overlay and some of the new, pretty gold faceted gems, see...
I used a TIP from the papercrafting queen, Jennifer McGuire, for attaching all these tiny little pieces. First, leave as many pieces in the die as possible, add a dot of glue to the back each piece, position the die then pop out the pieces when in place. Then with any missing pieces place the original die cut card over the already adhered pieces, dot glue in the gaps and fill in with remaining bits. Ta dah!
Notice those embossed leaves? These are new embossing only dies that are included in the Oh So Eclectic set - as well as a faceted heart and a tiny leaf frond too. How fun!
Well, that's all from me for today, I hope you liked todays make?
I'll be back tomorrow with more!
Before I go a quick reminder that we are in the last few days to use this months hostess code for a freebie from me next month to say thanks...

Using Dragonfly Dreams To Say Thanks!

Hello,
I have a card today using the dragonfly Dreams stamp set. We (the Jems) recently made lots of cards send as a thank you to the emergency services after the Manchester bombing and I thought the bumble bee in this set was just perfect, have a look...
I used the tiny cluster of stars from the (very sadly retired) Love Sparkles between each bee.
And the sentiment is from the Thankful Thoughts set, nice and large to make a splash!
A simple but sweet card and easy to make several of at once.
Hopefully they were able to convey a little of the thanks we all felt for our emergency services especially at such a tragic time but also for each and every other day too!
Thanks so much for looking today,
