Guy Greetings Eclipse Card for Dad.

Hello there,
Today's card is one I made for my Dad's birthday, back in December. Yes, I know that's a while back now but I had soooo many Christmas cards to share before the big day and then I have been juggling what cards you might want to see first??!
Aaanyway I made this version of the ever popular Eclipse card using Guy Greetings...
I started by stamping the anchor from Guy Greetings (and some stamped splatters) in Navy and Garden Green, across the centre of the white card layer before die cutting "Dad" using the Large Letter framelits.
Then add the large white layer to a slightly larger, navy card square. Adding the letters back in using foam strips, remembering to add the centres flat to the navy card layer for maximum eclipse effect ;-)
 A simple greeting inside.
Finished with a green ribbon bow and a sentiment from my stash.
So, that's today card for you. Thanks for stopping by today, I love to have you visit!
I'll be back Friday with another card for you but 'till then, happy crafting :-)

Revisiting Age Awareness from Stampin' Up's 2016 Retirement List

Hello,
Today I thought I'd share a few cards I have previously made using a stamp set that is now sadly retiring - Age Awareness. This is a great set for mens cards and it's only £14.00 too ;-)
Do you remember this pair of cards? Here I teamed Age Awareness with Be The Star, which is on the retiring list as well :-(
Ah, I do love a little emboss resist. The sentiment of from Age Awareness but the leaves are from Kinda Eclectic, which is staying :-)
Original Post for this card is here
And one more design for today. This card uses Age Awareness for the tag part but the base uses Dotty Angles which is yet another fab set that is retiring!
You can see the original post here.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed this little trip down memory lane. I'll try and do a few more posts like this (with different sets) over the coming weeks before they all retire!
Please remember to order your favourites before they sell out and are gone forever!

Using Stampin' Up's Barnyard Babies - Two more cards with my class kit!

Hello!
As promised yesterday I have two more cards using the kits from class last week. To see the original card I designed please GO HERE.
So, I had a couple of extra card kits cut up as spares for class so I decided to make some extra cards using these kits. I started with the pink pirouette card bases and the Barnyard Babies stamp set of course, this time I used the sheep from the set and changed up the position of the image...
I did have a little head start on these card as I had previously stamped and coloured these two images on water-color card. I love this cute, black sheep ;-)
I added the white card layer on foam pads and adhered the navy layer flat to the card for a different look.
and a top view of this lamb-y card :-)
For my third version of this card I added the brick embossing folder into the mix and coloured the cow in (Crumb Cake) brown :-)
 Love this sentiment!!
I embossed the bricks first then stamped the sentiment to get it in the centre of a brick.
Doesn't the addition of the brick folder change the look of the whole card?!
and a top view of this card to finish!
Well, I hope you have enjoyed the last couple of days of Barnyard Babies?
I do have another card to share with you that I made with this set so I'll be back with that later this week too but tomorrow for (not quite) Two Minute Tuesday I'll be back with a new Video Tutorial, you won't want to miss it :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,
