20th Wedding Anniversary Card using Number Of Years by SU!

Hello there,
Today is our 20th wedding anniversary so I have quickly edited the pics of the card I made (late last night!) for my darling hubby.
This is what I came up with...
As you probably noticed on here, I do love a good shaker card ;-)
I inlaid the numbers (from the Number of Years bundle*) into a watercolored background so the sequins could move about freely.
Note: *These stamps and dies are 15% cheaper when purchased as a bundle 'till the end of May only!
I have used the new shaker card foam strips {which are coming in the new catalogue on the 1st June} to make this card and I'll be doing a tips video for these soon!
Sentiment is from Number of Years stamps that match numbers dies.
Sequin *love*
And a top view of the card
So, how about a quick pic of us on the day, 20 years ago, to finish todays post?? We got married in the Dominican Republic, it was amazing... and very hot! and just amazing :-))))
Okie dokie, we are off out for dinner soon so I'll catch you later!
Thanks for looking today,

Watercolored Boys Lego Card using Boys Will Be Boys by Stampin' Up!

Hello,
I'm here with a quick and fun card for a boy using the fabulous set Boys WIll Be Boys. I truly love this stamp set and use it a lot! Take a look at today's card where I've teamed it with the Watercolour Words stamps...
I started by embossing the lego pieces with white powder onto watercolour paper. I then added a wash over each pile of bricks in Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out  by hand, mounted it on Daffodil Delight card and hand trimmed it again, leaving a small border.
I added the sentiment to the card front with dimensionals
And one final photo to finish :-)

Thanks so much for visiting, I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

Using Stampin' Up's Perfect Pines Christmas Card using the Spiderweb doilies as Snowflakes! with Video tutorial!

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing with you the second card from my Perfect Pines class I held last week.
For details of upcoming classes in 2016 please visit my Cardmaking Classes Page HERE. We'd love to see you at a class, we are a small friendly group and I run the same class (up to) three times each month so hopefully there is a day that suits everyone. Message me today to join in the fun!!
So, I went with a Kraft, White and Navy colourway and used the spiderweb doilies to make this stunning snowflake. We used the reverse of the snowflake and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice powder to get this look... It's much sparklier in real life ;-)
These trees were heat embossed in silver on White and Navy card then we washed over each with an aquapainter and navy ink, buffing to remove the excess ink from the silver.
This sentiment is from the set too, there's a lot of stamps in this set!
We popped the trees on dimensionals. The paper down the side is Season of Cheer again, the same pack as for yesterdays card.
and we added a cheeky quarter of a doily inside to decorate ;-)
OK, here's a little video sharing how to easily heat emboss these snowflakes and a few tips and different versions too, take a look...
And here are all the results. I personally felt that the snowflake with Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds v's the Iridescent Ice powdered snowflake were not so different that either versions would work equally well. I do love the gold and silver though! They really do pop, I will try my very best to make them into cards and share them with you before Christmas. I really hope you give them a try in the mean time!
and one more pic of the card to finish this evening.
This code runs right 'till the end of December :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 3: Peaceful Pines 3d Tree - with a Make 3d Trees Video Tutorial

Hi there,
And welcome to day 3 (already) of this 7 day series! Today I am sharing this next pair of cards with these cute 3d trees on them, which we made at my All Day Class this week.
Obviously I am not very good at writing down instructions for which part of the trees stick to where to make these 3d trees as when I wrote it down for the tips sheet at class I just confused everyone! So I have made a quick tips video to share how to do this today :-)
So first of all, let's me share the cards with you...
The Bauble version with the gold satin ribbon wrapped around the front panel...
...and the Holly version where I wrapped the ribbon around the top of the card instead.
So, here's the video for you today, just in case you aren't sure what to stick where to make this tree!
And finally, one more picture to finish todays post!
Thanks as ever for stopping by today. I'll be back tomorrow with another pair of cards for you using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.
'Till then
