Another Challenge!

O.K. I have been trying to upload this post since late Monday night, Blogger and IE apparently are not friends right now?! But here we are finally ;-)
Another day, another challenge, that two this week and yes, I know! Challenges are like buses at this here blog but when I saw Mandi and Chrissies challenge this week over at LIM was Punches and/or Die cuts I couldn't resist joining in. As you know though I am generally a more is more kinda girl so please, if this is not CAS enough, do feel free to discount it from the challenge :-)
To begin though I must show you the inspiration for the colour combo of Rich Razzleberry and Wisteria Wonder (I also added Sahara Sand as the Neutral) regular readers  may know I was at Gunwharf Quays the other day and when I was there I spotted this stack of towels in a display area. Crazy lady that I am I stood and took a photo of said display (see Zoe waiting patiently too in the reflection, as well as a gawping me, pritty, not!)
and this is the end result of afore mentioned inspiration
Lots of Itty Bitty Punches, DSP flowers and Rhinestones with the fab new 'Borderlines' flower stems to sit on top of (Borderlines can be seen on page 13 of the MINI catalogue)
Now, you can't really see on the top two pics but I also gave this a generous helping of shimmer mist (shimmer paint mixed with Alcohol) so this photo under artificial light (hopefully) shows the sparkle a little more
Well, that today's card, I am off out today with the girls so I really hope this post goes up on time?? I will like it onto the LIM blog later
Thanks for looking and I really hope this is OK for the challenge

Crotchet trim and In Colour ruffle ribbon decorate the spine, love both of these ribbons!!
and all three items together looking pretty ;-)
I hope you have enjoyed the last few days projects and if you would like to chat to me about joining the Southern Belles team then I would welcome your call or email :-)

Welcome to the team Emma :-)

Hello there,
A few days ago I had another lovely downline join my team The Southern Belles, her name is Emma (in case you didn't read the title!) and when any new member joins my team I always like to send them a little "Welcome" gift, some things to help them on their SU! journey!
This is the card I made for Emma in a Cameo Coral and Soft Suede colour way, I am loving both of these colours right now, both together and separately, I can't seem to use anything else! Lol!
Background DSP is the yummy Newsprint, loving this too! and the Fun Flowers Die with an antique brad in the centre,
I used the sadly neglected Vintage Vogue for the vines with Itty Bitty Punched flowers filled with Pearls,
and a little decoration inside too
She liked it, so once again Emma, Welcome!
That's it for today, I will be back tomorrow with more gifts for Emma, if you would like to discuss the benefits of join SU! and turning your crafting hobby into a business or just purchasing your stash a a discount then please email me with any questions or queries and I will call or email you for a chat :-)

Lovely Laura's Special Day

Good Morning to you today!
Friday was my very dear friend Laura's birthday. Now, I only recently met Laura but as soon as we did meet we just clicked and always have such a great time together, she helped me out at Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Fair so you may have met her too?? again though I have Stampin' Up! to thank for knowing this lovely lady, I am truly thankful for the people I can now call friends because of this company! O.K. enough mushy, the card....
I have used Sahara Sand with Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry,
Punched flowers were made with one of the Itty Bitty Bits punches, each finished with a rhinestone
The background was stamped with the "Sweet Friend" stamp from the Hello You set (this can be found tucked away at the back of the catty on page 86) using Sahara Sand Ink. Engraved Greetings was used for the main image (same page in catty) inked with markers,
more of that scrummy FREE ribbon ;-) Don't forget this offer ends tomorrow! contact me NOW to place your order to receive these gorgeous free gifts!
Bow tutorial coming soon...
and a bit more stitching inside to finish
Now, I wanted to make Laura a little something to go with her card and I had a little umming and ahhing but finally decided every crafter one can use pegs, so I covered these to match the card (tutorial for covering pegs is in the Dazzling Dozen tutorial pack)
using the itty bitty punches and rhinestones again
O.K. that's me for today, Zack is off on a sleepover with FIL tonight so I am not sure what I am going to do with the other two?? Better get thinking about it ;-) I have (mostly ;-)) enjoyed these summer holidays and it sure is going to be quiet around here next week!
Thanks for dropping by today,

Strength and Hope Birthday

Good Morning!
Super quick post today but plenty of pics for you, I needed another birthday card this week, and I went with my favourite colour combo of the week (or two) Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum and Blushing Bride, I hope you aren't fed up with it yet?? anyway, I used Strength and Hope again, love these butterflies!
They are just so easy and fun to cut out, and no I am not great at that usually ;-) a few Rhinestones to finish them along the centres,
a trio of flowers from Itty Bitty Punches covered in Crystal Effects
Sentiment is from Basic Phrases, punched with the Designer Label punch
Not sure if it obvious but I inked the edges of all the Sahara card with Whisper White Craft ink, it gives a lovely subtle definition to the card I think
and inside to finish
O.K. that's me for today,
Thanks, as ever, for visiting me *mwah*

Katie is 10!

Hello today,
I am off into town with DH in a bit but I wanted to pop on and share a card I made for Zoe's friend who's birthday it was on Tuesday, we went around yesterday afternoon to celebrate with her and this is the card I made :-)
The colour combo is Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight, I love this combo, so bright and summery (unlike the weather here!)
I used the new Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzix Alphabet Dies to spell out the Katie's name which was adhered on top of the bunting which I stamped onto Pacific Point DSP
Curly Cute sentiment again with Itty Bitty Buttons on each of the ends ;-)
and Itty Bitty Punches used inside with a little piece of Melon Mambo DSP behind to finish
Well, that's me for today, I'm off out :-D
Thanks for dropping by today,

Colur Coach Blog Hop! Teacher Cards and more

Good Morning to you!
Well, if you have just stumbled onto my blog then Welcome! Today is a special day and I am very excited to be sharing my Colour Coach Projects with you all :-D
A small note before you start, I have a lot of pictures for you today, I have made them small for this post but you should be able to click on them to make them much bigger. So grab a cuppa (if you haven't got one already) and I hope you enjoy today's projects!

This blog hop today has been split into two rounds, so hopefully you will have come to me from Glittermum (Niki), thanks Niki :-)
Round two starts with Emily, I will also give you the link to round two again later ;-)

So, I have chosen the colour combos that are shown to go with Regal Rose, and combination number one teams it with Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight, yummy!

I decided to make a card many of us will be needing in the next few weeks! One for a teacher :-)
I used Every Little Bit for the cute bus and the flower background with Curly Cute for the sentiment.
I coloured the bus with ink pads and a blender pens adding Crystal Effects to the 'windows', finishing it off with some scrummy satin ribbon and a rhinestone.

And a Sticky Note Holder to match with Number One die cut shapes on the back for your #1 teacher! :-D

O.K. onto combo number 2 and the colour coach shows Tempting Turquoise and Sahara Sand,

and for this combo I have made a special card with a gift box to match using the Level 1 hostess set A Slice of Life with the organza ribbon to finish,
Itty Bitty punches were used to create the background
and the matching box, I am working on a tutorial for this :-D
Well, I hope you like my projects today, your next stop today on round one is going to be Jane, I might even see you over there ;-)
**Edit to say** hop continues after Jane to HERE with Linz :-)
And as promised round two starts HERE with Emily.
Thanks again for visiting today,
