Last Chance to Order... It's This Week!

Hello,
Yes, this Friday is your last chance to order from the Last Chance List and some items from the mini catalogue too (messsage me to find out which are going!) There's quite a lot of things gone forever now too!
I am going to share with you another little card I have made with Strength and Hope, I love this set, the butterfly is just gorgeous and so easy to cut out too :-)
Love these little butterflies, I inked them in the NEW In Colour Wisteria Wonder and added pretty Basic Pearls to the centres
I devised the side stepper measurements myself the other day, do you like??
Well, that's handy as I have photographed a quick tutorial with all the measurements and will be posting it tomorrow! Yay!
So, don't forget, this week is the last week for items from the last chance list, EMAIL me with your orders asap plus a FREE NEW catalogue with any orders over £45 too!
I will be back tomorrow with the mini tutorial.

August Offer!!

Hello,
Apologies for not getting a chance to post yesterday, it was a very busy day! A class in the morning and children in the eafternoon ;-) and I have a class this morning too :-)
So, I promised you I would share a couple of cards using the FAB FREE products you can earn if you place an order over £75 during August only but first I will show you what you could receive for FREE shall I?
Look at this gorgeous heavy canvas 'cosmetics' (I would say it was a perfect size for 'tools' too) bag, all embroidered with these pretty flowers all the way round
And look at this inside too, all lined with gorgeous stripey fabric and filled with a roll of striped grosgrain ribbon and a box of clips worth over £18 and that's without the bag!
and together,
So, what could you make with these lovely clips and ribbon?? How about a birthday card for a good friend?
I have teamed the Rich Razzleberry ribbon with Pear Pizzazz, I love this ribbon for tying big, lush bows! ;-)
And a cute mini paperclip too,
Strength and Hope butterflies (again) unfortunately not a great colour on these photos today, apologies for that, see pages 2 and 3 of the Idea Book and Catalogue for all colours :-)
and inside is finished off too

Strength and Hope Birthday

Good Morning!
Super quick post today but plenty of pics for you, I needed another birthday card this week, and I went with my favourite colour combo of the week (or two) Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum and Blushing Bride, I hope you aren't fed up with it yet?? anyway, I used Strength and Hope again, love these butterflies!
They are just so easy and fun to cut out, and no I am not great at that usually ;-) a few Rhinestones to finish them along the centres,
a trio of flowers from Itty Bitty Punches covered in Crystal Effects
Sentiment is from Basic Phrases, punched with the Designer Label punch
Not sure if it obvious but I inked the edges of all the Sahara card with Whisper White Craft ink, it gives a lovely subtle definition to the card I think
and inside to finish
O.K. that's me for today,
Thanks, as ever, for visiting me *mwah*

So Sorry

Hello,
So Much going on today, I am off this afternoon to set up for the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Fair which starts this Friday until Sunday, I will be doing demonstrations throughout the day using lovey Stampin' Up! products for you to take away! I would love to see you there and if you visit here do say so, I would love to meet my blog readers in real life ;-)
So, today I have one of those cards no-body wants to make, sympathy cards.
I unfortunately needed two of them and this is what I made,
Baja Breeze and So Saffron with Strength and hope butterfly and Sincere Salutations sentiment,
I embossed the white panel, after stamping the sentiment, using the gorgeous Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder using my Big Shot, and added a little butterfly inside,
Well, that's todays card for you,
Ooohh, I just remembered I promised you teachers cards today! Doh! I will be back tomorrow with those then ;-)

A Brilliant Day!

Hello there!
Well, what a fantastic charity card class it was on Saturday! First of all I would like to say a MASSIVE thank-you to all the ladies who attended, I am so grateful for their continued support.
Everyone who came seemed to really enjoy the day, helped along by simple but effective cards all cut and ready (despite the crisis about 20 minutes before the class started, in fact DH was stood on the table with just a towel around him when the lovely Eunice arrived, I had to delay her coming in for the sake of his blushes!!) and not forgetting the cupcakes. So, here was the table on Friday night all ready to go..
I will be offering this class as a PDF in the next week or so, just got to type up measurements for you ;-)
I made a small thank-you for the ladies, a couple of metres of scrummy SU! ribbon, complete with a personalised tag made using the Timeless Type Sizzix Alphabet and both Tag Punches,
and we had 5 fab raffle prizes too, another thanks to Cate for her generous donation too x
and the most important bit... cup cakes, now I was a little nervous as I decided to try a new recipe for these, probably not that sensible the day before and important class! but they tasted yummy! I will be making more for sure, not that it will help with the diet ;-)
I topped them with edible glitter and cake picks to match these cards all using the Strength and Hope stamp set
and a couple of "action shots" ;-)

Well, if you like the look of this then why not join us for my next class? I am running this months calss on the 16th, 18th and 19th July and it's the Owl Punch class this month, more details under Card Classes along the top banner or click HERE.We would love you to join us:-)
Thanks to you for stopping by today, I am off out again today for more birthday fun ;-)

Sweet Sketch Sunday :-)

Hello there,
Well, another busy morning here, my car had it's mot today and so I met hubby in town for a coffee while we waited, how very grown up!!
Anyway, I have a card to share with you today, I started with this weeks Sweet Sketch Sunday sketch, and I know I will come back to this one again and again, I already have another card in mind for it ;-)
But here is the first one to begin with,
I used the level 1 hostess set 'A Slice of Life' from the mini catalogue as my main image with the swirl from 'Strength and Hope', ((don't forget to reserve your space now for my charity class using this gorgeous stamp set))
I used some more of the yummy poly twill ribbon to match the base card colour of Blushing Bride, the heart is again from A Slice of Life, why not take advantage of this months offer to get your very own set??
I added a dash of Dazzling Diamonds to the centres of the flowers for a little extra sparkle
and a bit of decoration on the inside to finish,
So, that's todays card for you, be sure to pop back tomorrow for this weeks Simply Stampin' Challenge card,
Thanks for stopping by today,

Sally-Jo's Birthday

Good Morning!
Super quick post again today as this morning I have a class :-)
So, it was one of the Jems birthdays on Friday so of course I had to make a card, I was a bit late posing it out, oopsie, I really hope she got it before the weekend..
Anyway, colour coach used to get the Concord Crush, Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz combo, Strength and Hope stamp set used, read more HERE about my charity class where we will be using this set, having a raffle and lots of other exciting stuff :-D
These butterflies are really gorgeous! I have just adhered the centre on top of a Polka Dot Embossed sheet of card,
I used Oval All for the sentiment, a set I haven't used in ages but I think it looks lovely on top of the Poly In Colour ribbon,
and another little butterfly to finish inside,
Well, that's it, I have a class starting soon so must dash,
Thanks for stopping by today

Charity Card Making Class

EDIT TO SAY: THIS CLASS IS NOW AVAILABLE AS A STEP-BY-STEP PDF TUTORIAL GO HERE TO PURCHASE :-)
Hello,
I am organising a charity card making class to be held on the 9th July in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Stampin' Up! has designed a beautiful stamp set (p. 31, mini catty) with this charity in mind and is donating £1/$2 to this charity for every set purchased worldwide, so I am hoping to help with the fund-raising efforts by hosting a class using this lovely stamp set (I have been playing with it and it is truly gorgeous to work with) whilst doing something we all enjoy :-)

This class includes your very own set of "Strength and Hope" stamps in your choice of clear or wood mount, Stampin' Up! will donate £1 to this charity for each set we purchase and I will match that with a £1 donation too, all your card cut to size and adhesive as per normal for a class, a raffle with LOTS of brilliant prizes, Cupcakes (of course) and Plenty of fun too!
The cost for this class is just £20 for the clear mount option and £23 for the wood mount option. Of course if you already have this stamp set then you can substitute it with another of equal value, but please bring along your set to this class.
One raffle ticket is included in the cost of your class and more will be available to purchase on the day. ALL profit from the raffle will go to the charity too.

You can make the cards in either the Blue or Pink but this class must be paid in full, with your choice of colours, by the 2nd July in order to give the stamps time to get here in time for the class :-)

I am also offering the optional extra of a roll of Seam Binding Ribbon in a matching colour and a pack of Basic Rhinestones for just £10, again this must be pre-ordered so it is ready for you at the class,

and here are the cards in Pink, shown here using the optional extras

I hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a fun time for a great cause.
If you live too far to attend this class then please email me for more details on this class by post. Unfortunately I cannot offer the cupcakes in this class kit by post ;-)
EMAIL me now to reserve your place, hurry, we are filling up fast!
